Want o try rebuildables-something simple

I've been vaping a while now and have looked at alot of rebuildables out there though I've never tried. I watch Busuardo rewick a vivi nova and really I'm just looking for something that's the easiest.

I also don't want to spend a ton of money on it b/c I'm not sure I even want the headache. Can yall recommend something?

I posted in the rba section of ecf with a detailed post of exactly what I was looking for and how I wanted to use it and got a few pages worth of VERY helpful replies. Recieved my first RBA yesterday and very happy with it, was cheaper than some of the disposable atties I've bought too.

I would recommend a aga-t. its a genesis or silica wick. i have one of these there easy to maintain superb vape and flavor (in my opinion). And there are alot of help and mods on you tube the olny mods i have done is a glass tank opened the air hole to 2mm and used a genesis wick. Hope that helps

The easiest to rebuild would probably be the stardust "type", Vivi Nova's or T2, T3 tanks. These would be a good start to get your feet wet. If you don't have the patience for one of these then a genesis is not for you.

I disagree, I find the nova heads much more difficult to recoil just because of the size.

That's ok if you disagree. I happen to think they are easy.

I would start with a phoenix or A7 atomizer. very beginner friendly.
take some silica. wrap some wire around it, attach wire to the screws, check it real quick for hot spots and resistance and pow off you go. easy peasy and the feeling of saying "hey i can do this" while you vape away.

The Drunker tank is a rebuildable, I gave up on Vivi's but decided to try one more of the type. The Drunker seems to be working very well and is giving great vapor and flavor on my Chi_You...the one on the right...

I second the A7, its damned easy to work on and easy on the wallet. But it is a dripping atty so not much of a reservoir.

The Chids (DID clones) are pretty easy to get started on, as are the Chobras (Cobra clones). The AGA-Ts are easier to work with being slightly larger in size, but some people have a problem with the top leg getting too hot.

The Chobras are easier to deal with vis-a-vis air hole alignment, because the tank can be slipped up a bit so that the top aligns the air hole with the wick.

Thanks everyone. I think I will try the A7 as I do quite a bit of business with MVS. I don't mind dripping i just kind of want to get the process down.

is the wick material and wire the same for the A7 that i would use with the vivi nova/t3/stardusts?

Yes, you can use the same wick and wire, I'd suggest 2.5-3mm wick and 32ga Kanthal.
I agree with the Vivi's not being that easy, I had to use a 6x eye loop to even begin to see what I was doing, then hold my tongue just perfect to get the leads in the right places! It wasn't for me at all!
The AGA_T is easier, but I don't think it's a real good place to start, speaking from experience. You need to get some washers for the pos post, you may or may not have to sand the top cap to get the air hole lined up, you may or may not have to open up the air hole (some have a very tight draw) and even then it seems you have to work the top coil a lot!

I agree also, with the Vivi Nova not really being a good beginner item. When they work, they are real good, when they dont (which is 50/50) they can be a real headache. Most need minor modding to get them working optimally. If you go to the tanks forum or the rebuildable forum, you can see all the "problematic " posts. The size is a big handicap, and rebuilding is not that difficult but there are a lot of quirks that you need to take care of. I really think an Odysseus/ or Terminator is much easier to use and rebuild and out performs the VN and will out last it also. The AGA-T Ive been told is a wonderful atomizer and easy when set up with silica. Ive been told to give it a try many times.
