I got everything today!

Couple questions:

- The DCT tanks came with a little round "stopper" with a hole in the middle. Do I need to use this for anything? If so, what? Or is that thing not necessary for the Provape?

- The first juice I tried I don't like. But, I've already filled up a tank with it. Is it okay to just empty out the juice and refill with new flavor? I'm guessing the new flavor will take a while to soak into the carto, any idea how long (or how many puffs) this will take? Or is there a better method for switching juices?

That's it so far :) This thing is pretty sweet - up and running in minutes and it's my first PV ever! Thanks forum!

There should be two little round stoppers with a hole in the middle. They are the end caps! They are VERY necessary! You put the two end caps on either end of the tube...(the clear plastic or glass cylinder thingy) Then you push the cartomizer down into the tank. The end with the threading is the bottom side, and those threads must be exposed to thread it onto your Provari. The other end of the cartomizer should be flush with the top of the tank. You have to fill the carto first and then the tank.

If you already have a flavor in your carto and then put a different flavor in it, you will be mixing the flavors and it will take quite awhile for the second flavor to come through, if ever, I'm not sure because I've never done this. The normal procedure for changing flavors is either to have a different tank and carto, or empty the tank and get a new cartomizer.

Ok, need to order more cartos in that case :)

But, these DCT tanks + cartomizers only come with one circle thing. Are you saying it should go in this hole before putting in the drip tip?

It can be done without changing the carto but as Kay1959 says, it will take quite a while for the new flavor to fully come through. I've done it before but it's easier and better to just take the old carto out and flush it out with water until all juice is outta there and pop in a new carto. I say flush it out since I hate pitching a carto that I only used for a short period of time. If you can get the juice out, you can let the carto dry for a few days then use it again if needed.
Also, get backup cartos. You do not want to be caught with a dead carto and no replacement on hand. Tends to ruin your day. LOL!

Was that little round thing on your carto? I assume so. If so, it can be discarded. I don't have a DCT tank but I'm using 5 other Phiniac tanks in rotation for easy flavor switching. :)

Oh...the little white thing? You don't necessarily need that....I thought you were talking about the black delrin end caps. My mistake. I personally do keep the little white rings, but just because I clean and reuse my cartos. You will not put the little white thing back in the carto while using. Keep it out and put your drip tip down inside the carto.

i use the ego c twist 1000mh with a vision v2 clearomizer. it's easy to load with juice, lasts me about half a day before i have to refill but if you are a light vapor will last all day. good flavor and vapor production useing 60/40 pg/vg mix juice. i realy like this setup. the battary lasts me all day and it's small enough i can stick it in my pocket. highly recomend it.

Understood. Thanks guys. BTW… just watched a youtube video on cleaning cartomizers. You all may know, but no one mentioned, you can boil them for 5 minutes, let dry overnight (threads up), and ready to reuse.

No one mentioned it because it doesn't really work very well. For one thing, it usually takes more than one boil to really clean them. It usually takes 3 or 4. If there's any scent left in the steam, they're not clean. Second, they don't dry overnight. They're still damp at that point and if you store them that way, god knows what'll grow in there. Third, you end up with a mortality rate. 1/4 to 1/2 of them won't survive.

Boiling is not the best way to do it. You can make a flushing device with a 20 or 30ml syringe and a condom that works a lot better. Go to YT and look for a video by "kennysmancave". He explains how to make and use it. Basically, if you get cartos from Surevapes.com they cost less than $1 each. Crystalclearvaping has them for $20/15. It's really not worth the trouble to clean them for most people. They rarely taste the same or last very long after cleaning anyway.
