Noobie here,( From Canada )
Want to try and quit smoking, and looking at the e-cigs. OMG..!!! I thought this was as simple as just buying a kit, and go... The more i read the more confusing it gets, It is very discouraging, so much to know, so many different systems, wow, its overwhelming.
Also, didn't know till i started reading that 'nic' is not the normal 'come with kit', and also didn't know that its illegal to sell with the kits with nic cart. in Canada, even though i can walk into a drug store and buy nicorette gum over the counter..just doesn't make any sense.
I don't know where to begin....other than reading more, and getting more confused...

Welcome to the forum, dana0069. You'll find plenty of help from this forum; hopefully you'll hear from someone in Canada. I had the same issue as far as what to get, what not to get, all the lingo and different stuff.

For a week I just browsed online e-cig dealers or left stuff in my cart but never bit the bullet. I wanted to buy but really didn't want to make the "wrong" choice.

What it came down to for me was finding someplace local that had what I wanted and just buying the darn thing (got an eRoll kit). I'm super new to this but it's working fantastically so far. The hardest thing was just to do it.

Good Luck to you!

Howdy. Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your confusion. There is a lot of info and it is quite overwhelming. Just wait 'til you try to become a vaping hobbyist if you wind up taking that path. Then it really gets bad. Anyhoo, hopefully you check out the links Neverlift provided and it gives you some clarity.

Also, I'm pretty sure there's a Canadian subforum where you will probably be able to find some location specific information on exactly how to get your kit and juices and all. You have to reach five posts here in the New Members' section before you can post there though. But that's easy. Just post in this thread a couple more times, welcome some other members, give the ECF servers about an hour to refresh, and before you know it, you're there.

All the best to ya.

its really easy...we all tend to read much more into things than is necesary when we start something new...basically ya need an ego battery , a cartomizer , some liquid an off ya go.., I suggest a 1100a Ego C battery ($15), Kangar MT3 clearomizer ($5), needle pin filler and fill bottle ($1.50), 5 replacement head/base coils ($11), a lanyard ($5) and a charger ($5), and a 30 mil bottle of premixed liquid/juice 555 flavor tobacco 18mg nicotine 80PG/20VG ($8) to start and last ya a month prolly...total start up cost $50, but only thing U will need after a month will be some more liquid/juice...PM if ya need some good sites to use..I think 95% of people who start smoking (vaping) on ECigs quit smoking real cigarettes (analogs) within a week or a month at most...do yourself a favor and read for about 2-4 hours and getta better grasp on things but its really simple and some people tend to write too much and complicate things..good luck, U will do yourself a huge favor by using Ecigs and save a ton of cash and make yourself much healthier very quickly..

Basically ya charge the battery , then using the needle pin filler pour the liquid into the clearomizer which is heated by the coil head/base and creates vapor that U draw into your mouth while smoking /inhaling vaping..the battery screws onto the coil base/head which is screwed onto the clearomizer which has a tip for your mouth..you tube has some great videos to watch about this, just google Kangar MT3..

Do yourself a favor and don't cheap out too much, a ego battery will work just find and there are canadian vendors that sell them. If you want more of a lookalike i personally like the volt and had no issues getting it sent over the border. I've also had 5 juice orders come across no problem but i'm prepared to accept the loss if they get caught. There are canadian vendors, you just have to track them down. Biggest thing to remember is that there's such a wealth of information on here it can get overwhelming. A lot of people just buy an ego battery and are happy with it day in day out. I suggest start off with the ego, find yourself a vendor and then move up from there if you should so desire.
