Hi all, I've been researching for the past few days and finally decided to get a 510 starter kit either from stricklyejuice or cignot, but I have some questions before I make the purchase. If any of you could help answer them I would be greatly appreciated. So here goes....

1. Should I go with both manual or 1 manual/1auto? If the man/auto, will any 510 atty work with either battery?

2. Is the L2 510 at stricklyejuice work with any 510 hardware?

3. How quickly do each company ship the order? Which is preferred? (I know this is personal preference, but it does help deciding.)

If you have any more info or suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

Thanks in advance,
JN

3. How quickly do each company ship the order? Which is preferred? (I know this is personal preference, but it does help deciding.) Cignot is a very fast shipper, I don't know anything about stricklyejuice, sorry.

I don't know anything about stricklyejuice but Cignot has an awesome reputation for super fast shipping and excellent customer service.

I can assure you that strictlyejuice has been more than terrific with me. The customer service is great! I purchased some juice that was not to my liking, and had to have come from their manufacturer mis-labled and it was delivered Saturday. I emailed them, and they sent out replacements first thing yesterday, as the post was closed for the weekend.

Jane was right on top of it and the customer service was great.

Welcome to your new adventure. I will pass on a few things I wish I knew when I first started vaping. My first pv was the 901 and really I wish I never got it. The 510 is far better for me, more vapor and better throat hit so I would say 510 is a good choice. I highly suggest a pcc and a passthrough as 510 batteries need to be recharged quite often. I have both auto and man batts and like the man much better except on the PT which I like the auto on.

Juice, I would go with high nic as if it is to strong pg is cheap and it is easy to cut the nic level down. Do not even bother trying to find a juice that tastes like the brand of cig you use to smoke. I like to put a little menthol in tob flavor as to me it is the best tasting tob flav. Anyways it will take a while for you to find what flavors you like and buying flavors in smaller amounts is a good way to go until you know you like those flavors. If you get a flavor you dont like, mixing in another flavor may make it something you like. I bought some 555 and didnt like it. I mixed some caramel in with it and loved it.

2pc vs 3pc I personally would not want a 2pc for my main pv because cartomisers are more expensive to operate but a 2 pc would be a great thing to have when your not in the mood to deal with filling the 510 constantely or when traveling but for some people I can see here the convience of a 2pc may be worth the added expense.

I like the two piece. But then I just really wanted something to replace my old analogs. Not something to create a whole new lifestyle around and drop a ton on money into with mods and such. I know a lot of people here get really into it and that's cool. Bu tI'm not interested in carrying juice around with me and all that stuff. The three piece units just seem like more hassle.

Give me a cartomizer I can buy and dispose of and if I want to refill them I still can. Seems like the best of both worlds.

A passthrough is not an expensive mod in fact I got mine for 10 bucks and it will save me a lot of money. It plugs into a usb jack, operates at 5v and never has to be charged saving me in having to buy batts. A pcc is a little bigger than a cig pack, holds your ecig and charges it when you are on the go.

The above op does put things into perspective in that a 2pc is easier to use and really I wish I had gotten one instead of my 901. If I had things to do over again I would have gotten a 510 and a KR808d and had the best of both worlds.

I ordered from cignot at 1:50 pm saturday and recieved in in my mailbox at 12 noon on monday. That was too fast ,laws of physics were broken.

And I ordered Saturday around 7 AM and haven't got mine yet. I love the west coast mail. It's probably been sitting in Tampa since noon Monday. (A neighbor of mine once sent another neighbor down the street a birthday card - and it took 4 days to get there. Went through Tampa. That was years ago, but I don't think things have improved much.)

Where can one get a 5v passthrough for $10 ??

Well there is kinda a catch to it. I bought it at www.eastmall.net but really eastmall is only good if you buy in bulk. When I buy from them I buy juice, attys bulk, and batts bulk and I save a lot of money buying from them. They have a 50 min and shipping is 15 bucks but their prices are unbeatable.

I just placed my order with strictlyejuice yesterday and it is in the mail and on its way to me as we speak. Jane is exceptionally helpful and will answer any question you shoot her way, she has really helped me out a lot in figuring things out since this is my first exprience with PV's. I am super excited to get what I ordered! They were out of one thing I ordered but replaced it with another and added to it for the inconvenience and I am more than happy for what they are sending me!!! Give stricktlyejuice a try for sure. I will post again when I get my package. I'm a VERY HAPPY customer right now and I havn't even gotten my package, lol.
