Hello everyone, I started vaping a few weeks ago. I do go all day without wanting to smoke but at night I crave analogs real bad, and most nights I will smoke 1 analog. How to get passed wanting that smoke at night? I am on 6nic all day long. I was on 12nic but the headaches I was getting every daily was awful. Also what is vapor tongue? I am changing the juices I use to avoid getting bored with one flavor. Any advice on getting pass that 1 analog a day?
Thanks in advance.

It's different strokes for different folks. We ll go at our own pace. Some get their kits in, start them up, throw stinkies out and never look back. Some take longer. I, myself vaped and smoked for about 3 weeks. I know there are some vendors that sell 9 mil juice. If 12 is too high, then 6 may be too low. Search eliquid sites, try some 9 mil nic, and most of all - dint beat yourself up over it. You will eventually find your sweet spot. Good luck and Vape On:vapor:

There are many many other chemicals and stuff in analogs with vaping you are replacing the nicotine only. You body is probably just missing those things. In time these cravings will subside, provided You keep cutting down on the stinkies, everyone reacts differently.

On geting past the one analog a day, maybe try smoking only 3/4 of it, then 1/2, then 1/4. Or maybe use a brand You don't like to put more negative thoughts in your mind about smoking than You have now.

Be happy about the ones you don't smoke.

I vape several flavors through out the day, mostly a tobacco RY4, but I do keep one flavor at higher Nic content than others just for a quick nic kick when stressed and need a vape, after I eat, before going to bed, and after I get up I use this flavor, always in a small Kanger T4 on a 510 cig-alike. Though, it took me a couple weeks to get to this stage once I did finally decide on quitting for good, so don't look at sparking up that evening analog as a loss, think about the rest you did not spark up as a victory until your body finally adjusts and purges out those other chemicals in an analog it is used to. As stated above, those other chemicals is what your body and mind are getting adjusted to, not the nic

i will admit I take my pv to bed with me....I haven't had an analog in about a month but at night sometimes the urge does hit me unlike when I smoked. So I keep my pv on the nightstand and vape as needed with a bottle of water or juice on the nightstand as well.

I typically vape between 18 and 20 mg nic...but I have a 24 mg nic just for those moments when the nic fit really hits me. So during the day you might be good with lower nic as you are vaping probably more often or when need but obviously when you want to go to bed you don't want that feeling so might want a slightly higher nic read to vape to easy that craving.

I used to only smoke 3 or 4 times a day (though at the end there I was doing 12 to 24 a day but that's cuz I had injured myself and was in quite a bit of pain) now vaping I vape more often but usually only taking 3 to 5 hits at a time.

As stated everyone is different...I first started vaping to try and cut costs and I did both for probably 4 months before deciding to just give up and give vaping a true go...it took awhile but a month later I think I'm doing good...can at least say don't wake up in the morning with smokers cough lolol
and exchanged ashtray mouth for dry mouth but hey..i'll take dry mouth any day.

Well put Txaggiesaunt.

Just keep on trying and like Txaggiesaunt said "don't beat yourself up over it".

I got extremely lucky and just found a flavor that was so good that real cigs didn't even matter to me anymore. There was the occasional urge to have an analog, but I personally just stuck to my goal. Once I reached a few weeks I was more focused that I didn't want to reset the counter of when I had my last one. That's just me. Hopefully you'll find the key that keeps you off the analogs whether it be flavor or device. My key was a top coil clearomizer that provided great flavor, warmth, and throat hit.

I started out the same way. I think you'll be able to get rid of that 1 cig a day eventually. I've been vaping for about 2 months & for some reason Saturday's are my downfall. I go all week without an analog but I just have to have 1 on saturday (I think beer has alot to do with it :)

So I went from a pack a day to one every other day to 1 a week. I'm cool with that for now but i know if I can go all week without it I don't really NEED it anymore...

hahahaha...I don't get to drink very often but I could see this being an issue.....if and when I get a chance to actually have a few drinks that might be a problem....will have to make sure I keep a high nic and strong clove flavor with me that night

For me it was 1. FIRST thing in the morning 2. then after meals 3. finally my car. It wasn't so much nicotine craving (although that was/is the crux) but the daily habit. I'm a habitual person. The way I take a shower, the way I make a sandwich, the way I was dishes, etc. That was how smoking was with me. I allowed myself to keep some of the smoking habits, then would "try" to switch it with vaping. So I went from 30 cigarettes a day to 4 or 5 to 2 then finally, the sticker: the first thing in the morning cigarette. I did that for a week then one Sunday decided to try vaping instead of that morning smoke. Haven't picked up one since.

Good luck!

Its great that you are trying to lose that last anolog, but don't forget to be proud of yourself for getting to where you're at right now. How many were you smoking per day before? I bet it was a lot more than 1 :)

I was smoking 50 a day I was a 2.5 pack a day smoker I started smoking 26 years ago.
