WARNING!! Check before you vape!

This is a warning for people to check their tips before vaping. I have had a ant problem this summer, Yesterday I was at the computer browsing away and went to take a vape...yep! There was a ant on my drip tip! Now I have a big ant bite on my lip!

I guess I was lucky cause I can only imagine inhaling a ant! OUCH!

At one point in time nicotine was used as an insecticide. Just let the little critter enjoy a few nibbles and hopefully he'll take care of himself.

I also thought that maybe somehow the presence of nicotine in my man cave would keep away the spiders and such....no chance!

Fire ants live and thrive in our area. They have some sort of eery communication system. An entire squad will crawl up your leg. Once they are in position, one yells "Attack!", and they all bite in unison.

When I was on vacation I found an ant inside my tank floating around, I assume he was attracted to the sweetener, never could figure out how he got to the liquid though

It used to be that you got ants in your pants. Now you get ants in your drip tip--and it didn't die from the nic juice?!

Loooool! You've just confirmed one of my [ir]rational fears. Over the course of the summer I've been checking my atty/drip tip in fear of bugs. I can't imagine how gross it'd be to vape an ant.

You are right about those ants all attacking at once. I moved down south years ago for my job and had to put my car in the shop. One of the guys was picking me up so I waited on the edge of a field. All of a sudden I was screaming in pain as something was biting me inside my jeans. I went running into the dealership as I was tearing my jeans off and all they did was laugh. I had never even heard of fire ants before that.

In children the fire ant venom deforms bone growth under the bite if the flesh is thin enough. I have scars on my shin bones that you can still feel over 20 years later.

I use a DV BCC clearo in my daily rotation (totally clear tank, tip, central tube, all one piece). This past summer was bad for the little no-seeums (tiny, tiny little gnats, I think). Sitting on the porch one night, started to take a vape and saw several no-seeums clinging to the inside of the central tube! Wasted 1.5 mls of juice washing that one! Now I look before I vape!

So I think it is safe to say that ants may not be the worst that can happen.

Fire ants are no joke, I'd much rather be stung by a bee.
