The post is raised actually, I believe it is the venture which is changeable to adjust the draw(when the new ones are released).
Sorry about the pic it saved on my PC 1.5mb when i uploaded it it is only 20kb.:nah:

Vmod battery connection v1.jpg
Black is around venture, Red is the hole in the venture for airflow.

If you go and look at this link:Vmod Manual you can see the venture.

Nothing appears to be wobbly. Guess I will look up the thread. I am in full panic mode lol sorry if I seem to be over bearing I just hot my mini hitting perfect with these I don't wanna go back to not using it at all cause none of the other atties hit right too tight of a draw.

hi shelbee, i guess i didn't make it to lie down yet:w00t:. ... use at your own risk. check and see if the center post is raised. check the dedicated thread about these attys and see if you can find the solution posted by AG

I tried to find the link to that thread...but I'm missing it. :(

Sure looks like it is I smashed on the coffee table to be sure it was seated but I am only screwing it in to make contact then just a 1/8th of a turn more. Not tightening it down

That's what we did while testing it...not turning more than necessary. We did not cook our mod, but I can't guarantee that it still won't cook it. We ran it for about 3 days and then set the atty aside.

here is a post that may help
The Vapage Hybrid has a floating center pin. If you try to screw it down, & it won't go all the way on...push the atty down firmly on a flat surface to push the pin all of the way into the atomizer. The pin has a lip on it, so you can't really push it in too far.

I've played around with several of them & this completely addresses the issue, until someone makes me aware of their particular problem.

Feel free to post this anywhere applicable:

Something was just brought to my attention. The BF Hybrid has an interchangeable center pin. It was designed that way, so the venturi could be changed to adjust the draw. On some of the BF Hybrids, the center pin may not be completely seated. This is probably due to vibration during shipping. Before installing it on your mod, press the bottom (threaded end) of the BF Hybrid firmly on a hard surface to ensure it is seated all the way inside the atomizer. This is ONLY on the BF Hybrid. The Standard Hybrid does NOT have this feature.

Well I shoved both mine down don't look like they moved much but they did go in a little bit. Still using it with no issues. Will keep on using it to see what happens now I am curious if that is the issue because if you really look at it other than being rounded and sticking out a bit farther it makes the same contact when screwing it on.

Keeping an eye on this thread and all of your experiences. I did not fry my Reo Mini but had a prob with correct squonking with the hybrid atty. This atty, to me, is fantastic, and paired perfectly for the mod it was made. (The VMOD)

Hopefully, someone will come up with a happy marriage for those that love this atty and love their Reos.

Thanks to MAlzado for turning me on to this thread.

Good vapes~

after purchasing on the cannon first run, i've pretty much decided to hold off on all first atty runs again until the kinks can be worked out:facepalm:

:) I'm an early adopter for sure when it comes to technology :)

Sure I'll buy that new 400 dollar item that could screw my 3,000 dollar computer .... no problem :)

But I'm not buying a 9 dollar atty that could screw my 160 dollar woodvil :(

Priorities man !!
