Okay. I did do that. What is the issue you're referring to if not the hybrid atty issue?
...Confused ...

There was an issue with the center post on the mod's atty connector. the center post on some were too large and it wasn't caught until after the mods had been shipped. There was also an issue with bad gaskets on the same connectors. These have been corrected and are no longer an issue. Robs intent was to assure folks that he was aware of the problem and will take care these mods. :)

Got my Reo Mini and BF 2.0 oHm Hybrid attys in the mail yesterday. I also have a VMod coming in the mail. I had read that you could use the Hybrid atty on all bottom feeders but to go easy on tightening it. Don't remember where I saw that though. I also remembered reading that because of the special design of the bottom of the atty it would not screw done completely (as we are used to) in anything other than the VMod.

I screwed down the atty until it stopped, then snugged it no more than 1/8" turn. Juiced it all up and tried it out. Took several hours to fully break in but it's turning out nicely.

When I read the very first post about the Hybrid frying the Reo Mini I was taking a hit, literally, off my few hours old mini.

First thing I did immediately is remove the Hybrid from the mini until I could look into this a little further. I read the posts and it seems that over-tightening and damage of the insulator is the culprit. I'm wondering if we could get some pics posted on the connector end of the offending Hybrid?

I've been using the COV (vapage) BF 2.0 & 1.5 on my Grand and Mini for 2 weeks now with no problems.
These were a nice change of pace from the string of unpleasant attys I've purchased in the past month or two.

I was told they are going to make new changes soon. Better draw and vapor. Im hoping to get a prototype. If not I won't be paying for any new design atty any time soon. So far neither have lived up to the hype for one reason or another.

Just got my BF Hybrids today, checked this thread and fired away.....on a $200 RSM like a real Pirate...;-) The center pin is fine, a little high but you can actually lower it as it has a screw connection. Like being said: don't screw it in too tight, just snug, no wiggling...and great flavor, yes it is a juice hog, but you get a blast of flavor and vapor in return. A little airy indeed.....

happy vaping
