What characteristics are added/taken away when water/alcohol are used in e-juice?
I've always been under the assumption that water is a cheaper pg filler and the only reason i could imaging adding alcohol to my fluid would be to make a non water soluble extract water soluble being alcohol is a solvent. Please inform me! Thank you guys for your time.;)

I don't use alcohol or water in my mixes, but will answer your question with what I have read.

You are correct in your assumptions. :)

to make a non water soluble extract water soluble being alcohol is a solvent.
This is one of the reasons to use alcohol. Some people use oil based flavorings and they don't mix right unless used with something like alcohol. :)

alcohol be to thin this thicker mixture
This is another reason to use alcohol. Also, I have read it increases throat hit. I don't know the percentages. Experiment with adding drops of each to a mixture, til it gets as thin as you want it. :)

Good thinking on your part. :toast: Enjoy! :vapor:
