Water vapor?

We have all heard that the vapor of an e-cig is water vapor.
My question is how does PG or VG turn into H2O?
Does it break down chemically during vaporization and become water?
It would seem to me the vapor would be very small particulates of PG or VG.

I believe your right, small particles of pg/vg but it attracts the water from the air and body so it is both pg and/or vg vapor and water vapor we take in and out...me thinks.

Looks like exhaled vapor contains .7mg PG and .01mg nicotine. The rest is water vapor from somewhere. .7mg is quite a lot for a vapor.
