Water?

I was wondering why water is added to juice. Sometimes I also see vodka. Is it just to make it thinner? Also, is water already added when you buy, say, a 36mg bottle of unflavored PG? I'm just curious because I buy this higher mg unflavored pg and mix it with VG and add flavorings. Do I still need to add water?

Nope. They are doing it to thin it...

Distilled water is used as a thinner, alcohol is also used as a thinner but some don't care for the taste it add. Not necessary to use either if your liquid works well in your equipment.

PG is about 10% water when you buy it. Adding more just thins the juice to suit your needs.
