Wow you really have a problem with the word "failure" huh. Personal issues?
Failure is an entirely non-prejudicial technical term. I use it precisely because it DOESN'T imply anything.

Perhaps not to you. And perhaps I wouldn't find it condescending if you made a slight distinction between the failure of equipment and the failure of a person. Some people may take that personally. I do not.

My "issue" isn't personal, it's public. I am here to make vaping as accessible as I can to as many people as I can. To me that means paying attention to what the member is asking and trying to respond with something relevant in a way they can understand. If you want to poke fun at me, come visit me in the Lounge. If you want to debate the thermodynamics of coils try the Advanced sub-forums. This is the General Discussion forum, for general discussion. You can certainly post wherever you like, but that won't make you less irksome. :)

That would be prejudicial. There is no evidence presented for distinguishing between the two, and regardless if it's one or the other it needs to be identified as one or the other. Failure without modifiers as I used it does not distinguish between the two. That was intentional.

You may be reading intent into my posts based on your own prejudices. Assume every post has no intent other than to inform clearly and completely by default.

O.P., vape it anyway you want, its your vape and you do want you want with it. We all have our preferences, I range from 7 to 9 watts, but that doesn't mean you have to.

DireWolfUSMC, I like the sig, but I would never have guessed Abe Lincoln commented about the internet, but it must be true, there is a quote and his name.

Well the "implication" was there, we'll just have to agree to disagree on that.
As for the OD'ing, lets just say pain does a lot to ones body after a while! I wish I could find a regular source with decent juice well over 36mg!

you could get some DIY nic solution and "spike" your juice a little couldn't you?

That's truly your interpretation of what has transpired between you and the little predator here?

Doc, nobody can read your posts and safely assume you have no intent other than to inform. The one I quoted clearly demonstrated intent outside of those specifications. You have some valid points you make in many threads, but your delivery is unbelievably and needlessly irritating. It is difficult to believe this is not deliberate action and word choice.

In any case, your declaration that the sole intent of your posts is to inform is laughable. You surely can do better than that pecksniffian hogwash.

Or maybe you cannot.

Looking back through this thread (as a person who is new to vaping, but far from new to forums), I have to side with the cats here (Ocelot and Eddard). I know for a fact that Ocelot has helped me make decisions that were difficult for me (being on a limited budget), but was always direct about what was required knowledge to make an informed decision.

Eddard, well...I've seen the posts, and it reminds me a lot like me in more than a few instances. There is nothing wrong with being direct and blunt when necessary.

My personal aspect of it, is if you have a question, ask, but always weed through the *bleep* to find the information that you need. Just like vaping, apparently there is work on your part that is necessary to find your happy. You will find your happy, but only if you do the work to find it.

On a personal note, the information that you get from those that actually TELL you the mistakes that you can make are invaluable. If you want to go off on your own, then fine, you will learn pretty quick. The information is there, you just have to read and take it in.

Now I'm not the BEST person to be taking advice on this on, but I'm also one that isn't heavily invested in this particular thing (... yet ...), but hey, if it gets me off analogs, then I am more than for it. Either way, do what your gut says, listen to the advice given, and go from there.

The only person who makes the ultimate decision is you! Absorb information, gain knowledge.

I don't believe that was directed at you. :-O

No, I think it was, but not in a mean way. He has the good Dr. on ignore, but I believe he can read the posts if I quote them. He didn't want to read them. (But I kept forgetting not to quote anyway. Sorry Sawlight. :()

One person here has already seen these comments, from me, but I thought it was worth repeating.

What makes someone so compelled to be so argumentative, in a setting such as this, is beyond me. Life gives us enough krap. We should be here, (a) learning what we need to, (b) helping out those who ASK us to, and (c) HAVING SOME FUN!

Life's too short, and all that-there.

Doc, I expect your intentions are good; but you really need to work on your delivery. You almost certainly have knowledge worth sharing, but your continuous efforts to be argumentative (yes, I repeated a word) can be, to use TO's word, irksome.

Like it or not, what we do here, in a larger context, is truly not that important. It's certainly not worth getting in arguments over - most of which are too often related to semantics (at least in your case).

Try dialing it down a notch. Maybe some decaf - Idunno.

That's it from me. Unfortunately I'm going to have to unsubscribe from this thread. Which is now the usual case once you step into a scene. And I always thought doctors were supposed to be helpful...
