Wow, I feel dumb cause I had not heard the board was trying to ban them in King Co. How stupid is that?

When do you think you will be up this way? How could we best get the word out? A thread in general, maybe?

I apologize for the weird formatting, I'm not sure how to fix it, perhaps a mod can do something.

The Seattle/King County ban does not have to go before the City or County Council, only the board of health (BOH). Just talked with Maria Woods, the staff admn for the King County BOH. She told me that the BOH is considering the e-cig ban but that it will not be up for discussion until later in the year. She did not have a date or any idea when “later in the year” would be. The BOH meets only once a month, so I think we should call every month to check on it. In the meantime, we can do our best to educate them.

Since there are no public hearings planned at this point, we need to keep a close eye on this and it is never too early to start planning. I am already planning to bring some CASAA materials and visiting Seattle. If enough people are interested, I would like to plan a meet beforehand to organize and socialize.
