Oh Megan - I wish I could reach out and give you a hug right now.

Thanks nite! One problem with my job is it's physically demanding and then I have the fall that started all this. Common for me for my back to go out though it has been long enough I don't have the same doctor who knew I was not a drug fiend and would call in a pain pill script for me so I didn't have to go see the doc. Which they want me to do but can't. K is home but he is in meetings when the doc could see me.

Megan ??
Are you okay?
Please be okay.
Hope you didn't spill your GCD!
Huge hug and a little worry.

I'm okay dearest. In tons of pain if I move. I'm okay if I don't move.

I think her ms is acting up and she is hurting. :/ but hopefully glow can save the day!!!!

Edit: wait, Megan is it MS? I might have misread it somewhere, and if I did I sincerely apologize. Either way pat I think she is just hurting, and it's not easing up today like she expected it would since it had hit her so hard the previous day. :(

MS caused the fall that set me up for my back going out. And Glow is magic! And keeping me from overdosing on advil!

(Which I have not taken at all since I know I went over 12 pills in 24 hours yesterday... )

Hi Megan - Sending hugs and love your way - Megan there have been a lot of changes to the way doc's can prescribe pain medications - these are Federal requirements. In the past pain medications could be called in but now they are requiring visits - limited supplies and refills are being restricted. The medication Lortab has been replaced with one called NoCor (in the Federal System anyway - VA, DoD and such) because of the over use and the abuse - Lortab contains tylenol - 500mg and because of the abuse there has been a large increase in the number of patients with liver damage because of tylenol. NoCor contains the same Hydrocodone 7.5mg but only 325mg of tylenol. Hope the pain eases and that you can get the much needed medication.

Yeah, there is that too. It used to be ambien was no biggie. Then the insurance demanded a preauthorization saying is was just so expensive. Then when it went generic they said it still needed a preauthorization and only 6 refills are allowed because of drug abuse. No worries, if I could get to the doc I would go but hubby can't miss his meetings and I can't take myself so I told them I'd set up a time when I could get there. I always tell my doc I'm not a drug seeker I'm a drug hoarder.

Yeah, I have some stuff that might help her back. Believe it or not, there is a wonder rub that is over the counter that might help. Especially since she can't use heat. That and a few other tricks I have up my sleeve. This isn't the place to post all this stuff so I will let that be enough for now. She has K home today so she is not alone. We will get our Megan better!

Right now I am trying to get my home stuff taken care of so I can leave. I haven't had enough coffee or NT juice. I always take some time to get my nic level up before I can actually be human. LOL. Same as I used to do with cigs. Right now I am bouncing between Radioactive, Be Mine and some PB cookie I am sampling.

You just can't help EVERYBODY! Unless you can clone yourself. Come on over. It should be up to 50 degrees today after a night low of about 12. Bright sunshine, roads are clear.

Cloning would be awesome! We could all have a Pat!

So they have a 1:30 appointment open so I grabbed it. Stay home and have your morning, if you could drive that would be awesome. My doc office is at the old Eliches, roughly Tennyson and 38th (I think I always confuse 38th and 35th  )

Oh good! Then it's just east of Tennyson on the south side of the street. Highlands Family Medicine. Thank you so much Glow!!!

Is 1:00 OK to pick you up? Remember to bring the Dibi and some NT juice! That's a really long trip...don't want any NT withdrawals in my motor car!

Wait, Dibi doesn't leave the house. I guess you need to bring the MVP. Do you want a wheel chair? Can do if you want.
