Been wanting to just let loose and talk to you all about anything and everything going on but I feel like I can'tFeel like we're all bothers and sisters whose parents just separated or something making communication hard and on thin ice. Miss everyone!!
We just have to abide by the ECF rules is all - any mention of another vendor or product (even positive) might be interpreted as an endorsement from Nicoticket, or conversely, a negative comment interpreted as a slam. Unfortunately, anything that represents a passionate opinion about vaping is better saved for other quarters since anything you say may as well have come from my mouth by virtue of the fact that I allowed it to remain un-moderated in my forum... that's a significant change from the VV threads previous, but that's the way it has to be if I we want to maintain a presence on ECF. Previously I have always abided by the rule that "the opinion of the respective poster is no more than that - the opinion of the respective poster." But, ECF looks at it differently - every post is a reflection on the whole community, and a post that may at first appear to be your opinion, will automatically be extrapolated into being mine (since it's in my forum), and thereby ECF's (since I am part of the larger community). It's a strange time for vaping - the politicos insist on causing a fuss over the semantics of vaping because they know it will become a 10 BILLION dollar industry in the next 5 years if it continues - much of what is being done is in the interest of shaping the 'image of vaping.' It was inevitable - vaping emerges out of shadows as an infant industry and anyone with an interest gets protective. The more 'mainstream' it becomes, the less 'special' it will be.
Example: It's so uncommon to see someone vaping on the street that I inevitably approach them and ask 'where do you get your liquid' or 'do you like that mod' etc. Fast forward two years when half the people on the planet are carrying one... will I still do that? Honestly? Probably not.
