My reo seems to not be producing much vapor.

I've tried the exact same atomizer on a riva and it's working well, just not on my reo grand. Which elimates the atomizer.

I've tried about 5 different batteries (Ultrafire and AW) 18650 3.7v, and they all seem to help at all even fully charged.

Any other advice or tips?

I realize you said you elimated the atomizer but what brand was it and Ω? Did you meter the REO connector with a fully charged batt?

Gonna need more info....how often and how much do you squonk? Can you see liquid in the catch cup? Also, make sure the bottle is good and snug when you attach it, so it seals and doesnt draw air....are you getting flavor or the burnt taste? What kind of atty are you using?
Sorry to answer your question with more questions, but all of my reos produce tons of vapor normally....

With a number of diffferent 510 atomizers, LR and Standard. Not entirely sure of the brand.

The mod is maybe a month or two old and was ordered from the site. Don't have any meters to test atomizers or batteries with :(

What I think the problem is the battery position seems to be really finicky, if I take the door off and press the battery as I puff.. bam clouds of vapor, but if I have the door on and the battery moves a little I get very little vapor.

Still the best PV I've ever owned though.

P.S What does Noalax actually do? I've run out.

What type of batteries are you using? Are they perhaps flat-top batteries?

NoAlOx does exactly what it says :) -- No Aluminum Oxidation. It basically prevents aluminum from developing an oxidized "skin" that it naturally likes to do but which also inhibits its behavior as a conductor, and applying it will cut through that oxidation if it's already built up. In other words, without it over time your Reo will stop hitting well even with fully charged and properly-positioned batteries.

One last question. I got some 510 Cisco atties that won't fit in my reo. Do the 306 cisco atties have the same problem?

There were some Cisco atties that did have that problem. I don't know if it was limited only to 510 or also the 306 (the only cisco 306 I've tried was after they added the reo-compatible checkbox), but Avid Vaper now has a checkbox for both if you're buying for a Reo so make sure you tick that checkbox next time you order. Note that the two Cisco 510s I got with that issue ultimately did work, I just had to work at fitting them on. For me, cleaning the threads on the atty really well and then "forcing" it on seemed to solve the problem. In theory, the threads on the atty should be softer than the threads in the 510 connection on the Reo so you shouldn't risk damaging anything if you do try to force it.

Read this thread and see if that particular fix works for you.

Sometimes it helps mine to roll the firing button back and forth a few times to clear it out and definitely use Noalox. Have you used the batteries in any other mods. Sometimes a tighter fitting mod will squish the battery down a bit and leave it a little short. Try black electrical tape wrapped around the battery for a tighter fit.

The threading issue affected the 306's too, as well as ikenvape's atomizers. A couple of turns in some high grit sand paper will fix the problem. Avid vaper actually got rid of the check box as the issue with the supplier has been fixed and all the atomizers should fit without a problem.

So to understand correctly, there's a correlation between weak vapor, and the atomizer not fitting in all the way?

Because I have a few atomizers from IKV that won't fit on another mod very well.. i have to screw them in VERY tight...then they will fire, but the vapor production is really weak

someone please let me know! i was about to throw away 4 brand new atomizers =[

If you're getting a bad connection, it will affect the vapor. Have you sanded the threads of the IKV attys?
