Last weekend I mixed TPA blueberry wild at ~12% with ~2% TPA vanilla swirl. I tried it the next day and it was omg the awesomest flavor ever. As the days progressed it started to taste more weak, and now, a week later, it's just a hint of blueberry, where before it was very very flavorful.

I want to mix up a bigger batch of this juice, duplicating the flavor I got when it was just a day or two old (but for the long term). Should I try more or less flavor? TIA

I am not the pro, but shouldn't you add some form of acid to stabilize and hold the flavors longer ?

I was thinking about malic acid, lemon/lime drops or so ?

Don't shoot me if I am wrong, but you can always try a small batch with less flavor and one with more flavor and see how it turns out offcourse. That would be my first go anyway

Right, too many variables to answer.

If you overshoot a flavoring, the taste will go down, but usually, not always, you'll get a weird note to it.
If you overvape a flavoring, you could stop tasting it the same.
If it needs a butterfly fart, adjusting the flavoring level will accomplish nothing.

It's time to strap on the lab coat and start experimenting. Don't forget the control and keep notes.

okay, thanks for the replies... i'm anticipating being really busy the next few months so not much time for DIY :(

this may be the last batch i make for myself until after the holidays. i'll mix it weaker, keep the bottle of flavoring out, and add a few drops of lemon (now that you mention it, my vanilla-peach recipe that I love does have a touch of lemon.)

I really didn't think my tastebuds were the culprit, but they are!

I had my husband taste my blueberry juice tonight (the original batch) and he says it tastes the same as when I had him taste it last week. Now I'm losing the taste of most of my other juices too :( This happened once before, hope it doesn't last long.

If it's your taste buds, you could try vaping an "opposite" flavor. Just go for something completely different. I don't have an all day vape myself. I vape
watermelon, red bull, mary jane, realcig, menthol, lemon, kiwi and some other mixes

last night tried a bunch of juices and the only thing I could really taste was a strawberry lemonade. so I've been vaping that. Hopefully if I lay off the blueberry until the weekend, I can taste it again. If so, then my recipe will remain unchanged :)
