Web Series Input

Ok, so if you've seen "Zombie Town, USA" then you know I am contemplating putting together a "regular" zombie web series for us here. It's a chance for me to practice some skills and keep my mind... limber.

I'm thinking 5-10 minute ORIGINAL shorts... like every 2 weeks or so mabye...

I was hoping I could get some input and ideas on what you might like to see... Or if a regular web series about zombies / zombie apocalypse / living with zombies sounds interesting to you guys?

Throw some things at me... Do you want action/adventure, comedy, romance, lots of explosions? (Try to keep your budgets reasonable of course).

I'm going to try to shoot a couple of pilots/teasers over the next few weeks and can use your input.

Sounds awesome! I sent you a PM with some ideas. I personally like the zombie plan expose, especially if you can get that 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' feel to it. But then again, I have a pretty warped sense of humor and would like each episode to end with them being over run due to some flaw in the plan, but that's just me

Awesome guys! You're all giving me some great ideas already.

So what I'm getting so far is:

1. Possibly be informative
2. Humor; got a couple of votes
3. Scantily clad... people
4. Zombie kills and/or explosions

Good stuff.

The zombie kills and explosions may take some planning... but everything seems pretty do-able so far.

I'm getting some stuff together already. Should have something short to show you soon.

Expect to see your ideas incorporated. Keep em' coming!

I like the idea of showing the flaws with the plans too. Also, having the plans on video, might help those that have a hard time picturing what is being said at times.

As far as the web series, I say anything to do with zombies is good...comedy, gore, from the hunters point of view or from the zombies point of view... might be cool to have a short segment that looks like a larry king interview with both a zombie hunter as well as a zombie, both trying to get their points across...maybe the zombie takes offense to the term zed or something like that...maybe two youngins at school, one eating a bologna sandwich and the other zombie kid eating on a human arm...theres got to be some good dialogue there right?

Maybe you can do something from the zombies point of view and show their "people plan"...something like, i plan on heading to the local grocery store and trying to get braiiinnnzzz... IDK, we will enjoy anything you put out i am sure

Aren't we potentially both? Fuel isn't really a problem, converting the engines to use ethanol though... can be a little tricky finding the right fuel injectors.

I think there should be "spotlight on the hunter". Ivan can ask a series of questions to a certified zombie hunter. Kinda like that guy does on "inside the Actors Studio". And I nominate Dr Evil Zombie as Ivan's first spotlight.

Any carbon based material can be processed into fuel... Tyson already has a plant producing bio-fuel using all the inedible turkey parts.
