Eh, I was being paranoid about my co-worker... I just approached her on my last round about some issues and she acted perfectly agreeable. All in my head apparently...

I just spent the better part of 4 hours discussing the employment opportunities that one of my patrons has... I feel for her - in her early 40s with a PhD and likely to be sell noodles from a noodle cart in China once she goes back. Apparently, a PhD from the USA is not as valuable as it was 10 years ago... so, she is floundering. After knowing her 3 years, I feel for her struggle :/ I'd send some single male friends her way, but all of the men I know actually avoiding all relationships or the already found a wife with a good career and they are stay at home husbands.

Going over some training material for the new job. I asked for a training refresher, but I want to be a bit ahead since that desk deals with many more issues than I do =] In the last 12-13 years I have worked all around that desk, but never AT IT =] I do most of what they do, but additional issues come up there that I do not deal with... problem is, like it or not I forget so much isht it is scary... They redo all of our websites 6-7 times a year and I can never figure out where in the H they have put things :/ Training packets are redone by someone wanting change and then they flounder and the old material has been deleted and the new material is a mess of dead links and half completed forms :/

I will grab what I can and read over it to make sure I have all of this stuff down.

I hope all of you guys and ladies are resting easy and ready to enjoy a magnificent weekend =] My smoker was a dud but I am sure looking forward to a bit of a rest... I am just physically DRAINED right now... I tried to get a soda from the machines, but my card is declined :/ I checked and there is plenty there but the card is in decline mode :'( No coffee, no sugar, I am failing fast!

Pretty cool you made Channel 3 News Natey!! The signs might be more valuable to collectors than to scrap metal dealers.. But its more likely that scrappers would be prowling around and taking stuff without permission. At least the scrap yards will now know about the theft, but everyone knows there is no surveilance system at the garage..

I am sooooo glad my week is over... My boss' assistant came in since she took off today and he asked if I'd be going upstairs before I went home. I said no, unless he needed something... he seemed pretty sad :'( He said it wasn't important and he would see me later, but now that I am home I think I should have gone up and spoken to him. I do A LOT for him, catch problems and fix them, process stuff that was left for him to do, he just forwards me stuff and I make sure it gets done or REDONE as the case may be :/ Anyway, I am home now, but I'll see him later, as he said.

The weekend is open for me, Emmy has been having a few issues, so I came home to clean up a bit of a mess and shampooed the roommate's carpet. I went ahead and pulled off all of his linen and put it in the wash. I really don't think the M F er has been taking Emmy out when he gets home since she's quick to beg to be taken out when I get up to go to work at 11PM. She really, really adores him and given a choice, she'd always be at his side, but as far as CARING for a child, livestock, or a pet, he's pretty much a lost cause :/

I roasted a chicken and potatoes last night, but I have no ides what else I should make... Since the smoker is a wash, I am considering just frying up some chops and fried chicken.

Have to call my bank now since my card is being denied everywhere... they are in a meeting so make that I have to wait for a return call :/

It's time for another episode of "Real Conversations From The Studio." On today's episode... Is there such a thing as too obnoxious?

Client: We didn't get any leads from the commercials.

Me: You didn't get one call? Nothing?

Client: We got calls, but they were complaints. People were saying they didn't like our commercials because they were too obnoxious so we want to change the commercials.

Me: Ok, cool! What do you want to do with them?

Client: Make them more obnoxious. More sirens. More Screaming. Louder music. Can you do that phone filtering thing with your voice? I really want to grab people's attention. Maybe some truck horns blaring?

4. 6/21 - The only good thing about USPS tracking not working correctly is the surprise when vapemail shows up.

It's not really vapemail exactly, but I've been waiting for a new pen torch for 10 days. Using the stove to oxidize SS mesh wasn't working out. Now to find out what chemicals to put on copper to torch it and make pretty colors! What the heck is liver of sulfur and where do I get it?

That's not important now. The new toy's unwrapped and working perfectly. Procrastination time is over, time for GTD! TGIF, TTFN! ¡Buena suerte amigos!
