Well woot for you levisdaddy. Have a great time!!!!!!!!
Thanks JJ!!
Good Morning LD... & Schnarph....
Morning Blue! Hope you are feeling better today!
State Boundary Markers
Think about when they originally set out to mark these lines. Crazy being interstates and whatnot didn't exist.

Shoot me a PM when you get here.
Will do! I look forward to meeting youse!!
Wifey's nurse just left, she hooked up a bag of iv flush solution to flush her out at home, so I have to stay home again to change out the bags. I guess it's better than her being in the hospital but that might have been easier on both of us. Ha, I'm a home nurse now and didn't even know it!

On to brighter vape news. My son bought me a new mech mod as a late Fathers day present so I should have vape mail early next week, it's in the Hong Kong post office now.

I took MrPicC's advice, it will be my first mech mod.
Grats on the belated gift! Hope your wifey is doin better, as you said, nicer to have her home than away. And i am sure she is more comfortable with you at home
chat, bump, whatever-

more like RayN's ECF avatar, but closer to a "Texas" star. Some examples:

#2.
texas%20star%20new.jpg
#3.
tbImg%202010060409163896412.ashx

I tried #3 at 5/8" wide, the circle was too fine of a line to cut perfectly by hand. It doesn't look bad, just a little sloppy IMO. If I make the circle wider like #2 I'm sure I can do better. I didn't want to do an exact copy of RayN's avatar, but it would be much easier to not have a circle. I'll try another test piece or two before I potentially mess up a pyrex tank. The circle makes it look like a marshal's badge, which is not at all what I want. Worst case scenario I end up with a completely frosted tank. I don't know. Confused is my new user title, by the way...
i can see that being quite the undertaking. takes a VERY steady hand to work with glass, especially such a small canvas and intricate design. i like the nautical star (what i know it as) #3. cant wait to see pics of the final production
2- Thinking it might be a six flags day, daughter really wants to go, who am I to say no right?
i miss six flags, been a long time since i have been on a coaster, the one in Jersey was my fav growing up. have fun with the little one!
I like the beveled look of #3, when etched it adds depth. I'll let a few more folks weigh in on this, I'm having a terrible time making decisions lately. A contest win yesterday came with a bizarre stipulation that still has me totally confounded.

Maybe RayN has an opinion on the design?
yes, whats the stipulation? must leave a review?

Schnarph,
Here's a way to morally justify taking the 250ml.
If you like it, love it or even if you think it's meh... you can share it. The more you have, the more you can share, thus increasing the exposure/awareness of the product and brand for the vendor.

If you hate it...
There's where the dilemma could exist, throwing away 250ml of any juice would feel like sacrilege...

Just my:2c:

I vote for removing the circle and making it look 3 dimensional using design #3. You could enlarge the star and make the tiny lines larger without affecting the intent of the drawing

Puff paint would probably work, but I still won't be able to make pen width lines in geometric shapes. Perfectionism is a curse in so many ways. There are pre-made computer cut vinyl stencils, but not in this shape.

The "bizarre stipulation" is... just too weird. This probably isn't the right thread or forum section to discuss it, but it has nothing to do with anything RayN sells so I hope it's alright. It comes down to a moral dilemma in which I have to decide how greedy or modest I want to be. Imagine a scenario in which I offer you free e-liquid but nobody has had it before and there are no reviews. You can have anything from 5ml to 250ml. What do you do? Why am I making you decide?

edit: @glassmanoak- I did my test on a scrap piece of flat glass. I seriously doubt I could transfer such thin cuts of contact paper. The design is essentially one piece of contact paper. Cut all the way through the backing, and peel it off the tiny design and stick that to the tank. Worth an experiment! I need a fatter design, like a simple star.

So... a long time friend, who I have never actually met in person (old android dev forum kinda thing), who is also my "Vape Maker" (he converted me) sent me an email asking for my address... when I asked him why, he said he is sending me a 15 ml sample bottle of both Boba's Bounty AND Pluid!

Heckz yeah!

You think you'll miss the NY winter? May not be any more snow for you :p

3) As someone that grew up in New York and has been in California since 2000, I can assure you that winters will not be missed. The best part is getting to the point where anything under 70F feels "cold" to you. Ha!

Sorry, I've been cutting stencils...
Before anybody else weighs in on my moral dilemma, I already had to make a choice. I ordered 2 sample packs (total of 6 flavors) from the vendor, and told them to decide how much to send me for the prize. They threw the choice back at me again. I responded by telling them to send me the largest amount and I will PIF. That might cost me a few bucks to ship out sample bottles to a bunch of folks, but I like Paying It Forward enough to do it.

Stencil is looking good, I'll have some pics in a few hours however it comes out.

@|_strider_|- I could do a reverse image like you suggest, but my experience with frosted/etched glass is that it is harder to get clean evenly. The less is etched the better, IMO. If it was a door and I was trying to obscure the view for privacy I would etch as much as possible, but that's quite different. If I had more tanks I would do it both ways, maybe in the future I will have the chance.

All caught up and just have to say- leave the circle off :)

My only concert was Eric Clapton in Kalamazoo with Bruce Springstein as his opener-he was a new kid out of Chicago. That same summer Peter,Paul and Mary preformed outside our little church in the yard. I have no clue why.

Awesome Chicken(my son's name) jar of Alfredo sauce add itialian seasoning. Add cooked cut up chicken serve over noodles or rice. Broccoli bits are optional :)

Is there a big sign or something? what marks the tri state boundary? i have been to the four corners and its a big metal disk in the ground where all four states meet, not as appealing a landmark as previously thought, kinda a tourist trap surrounded by lots of little indian jewelry and blanket vendors, oh and Indian fry bread.

MrPicC beat me to the Pic lol.... Thanks MrPicC for the link..

Unfortunately some ......... contractor doing maintenance on the road leading to the parking area from which I planned my hike had the road completely blocked, no access to the lot and no where else to legally park. So I was Hike Blocked... there at least... I did go for a quicker hike at some old stomping grounds... I came back 3 times trying to see if he moved his truck.. finally gave up.

Reminds me of the mason Dixon line. Imagine the 1760s where everything in every direction is forest. Forest, wildlife and hills everywhere. Dedication to a job like that for the king had to be amazing.
