LOL... I guess beauty in Radio is wasted

Have you heard the phrase, "He has a face for radio."?

More than you know my friend... more than you know.

Guess it's common in your station?

3. 9/11- What a day. Rear axle split in half on my mother's electric wheelchair, about 1/4 mile away... at the bottom of a long hill. The thing weighs close to 300 lbs, and doesn't fit in "the car" :glare: I'm beat! :(

Ratchet-straps and tow that sucker!

What time does your shift start again? I am thinking that thursday would be easier for me, unless you start around 5 then i could come today. :)

#3 Sorry I didn't reply to you sooner. I will be there at 4pm. I'm also going to FB message you right now in case you don't notice this post.

I have some very strong political beliefs, however, I will not address them here. I like you guys too much to argue politics with you. But I am in agreement that politics can't be ignored. Or, it can be, but then you are just letting other people make all the decisions for you.

09/11 Entry #3 . . .

"My" Apologies - Although the subject has changed . . .

As to politics . . . . We have to be able to conduct intelligent discourse on the subject in order to avoid the ignorance that politicians wish us to act under.

If a purely emotional response is evoked by an argument, you should damned well doubt the validity of both the information and intent...

We are no longer a society that believes in reason and rule of law. Our founding fathers were smarter, wiser, better educated (classical greek) and more accomplished that the typical politician in office, or campaining for office today.

I could not agree any more with a comment than this one - especially given that it makes a lot of sense . . . AND - Matter of fact, IMO - is a tactic used by most people to elicit a response - be it negative or positive - to try to justify their actions and get what they want - nor to discuss what the important issues that actually are NEEDED to be discussed and be dealt with at any given time . . . BTW: This is not just done by politicians - it is something that is usually done by those who want to control others . . . As the saying goes . . . "How Can So Few Control So Many" . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

Now - Back to the topic of Clothing . . .

4

The beauty of radio... Our dress code... just don't come to work naked. And If you do... HR will not listen to your complaints about others gawking.

PLEASE - NO PICTURES - if Ya' Do Go NAKED . . . Already seen Ya' in the Bathroom ;) . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

AND - As for "Me" . . . From the well dressed child of the 50-60's ("Easter's Best Dressed" '60's) - To the Hippie attire of anything goes of "My" Teen-aged Youth - to the Fashionable 70's of Jeans/T-Shirt w/a Long Sleeve Over Shirt (including a lot of flannels and western style shirts) or w/maybe a vest and Cowboy boots or Work boots or sneakers (Think NYC Village Gay Man) through the 80's and early 90's (with a very short time in more "fashionable" tends of the day for a specific job I had on Eastside of NYC - Lexington Avenue) - Then back to Jeans and the Long sleeve shirt when I was in college during the mid 90's . . . AND - The after graduation it was the 3 piece Coordinated Suits or Outfit for Work/Meetings with the "Big Boys" (Thankfully that only lasted a few years in the late 90's to 2002) . . .

NOW - For the past 10 + years - It has been Shorts and a Short Sleeved Shirt and sandals (Sometimes Pants/Jeans, Leather Coat/Sweater, and Rockport walking shoes when I'm up North) . . . Even going to dinner at a really good restaurant here in Florida it's just - Dress Shorts and Short Sleeved Shirt w/closed toe sandals . . . YOU GOTTA PROBLEM WITH THAT ! ! ! I'm Old Tired HOT MAN Living in Florida - SO What You Looking At . . . ;)

AND - What Is Really Important - ALL Outside Clothing and shoes are off as soon as I enter the door - just a pair of lose fitting pair of shorts and a T-shirt that's all for "Me" . . . Unless "You" come to the door uninvited - then I get NAKED (which is not a pretty site ;) ) before I open the door . . . BTW: NO PICTURES - Ya' ALL Are Out of Luck On Seeing That One (I bet most of "You" are glad too . . . ) Unless "You" Just Show-up Unannounced . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

3: I do remember those who lost their lives on today's date, and feel sorry for the families who lost someone on 9/11.
But I must ask a few questions. How many planes struck buildings in NY? 2 How many buildings fell that day? 3. A video shows the owner of the World Trade buildings saying they decided to "pull" WTC7. It takes a month or more to prepare a building to be "pulled" not in one day, and especially not on that day with everything going on.

Can someone explain how 10 watts on a Provari is different than 10 watts on any other VV device?

By what I read here, the Provaris must put out magic pixie dust Watts.

I was wondering the same thing! Or is it just another one of those "paying for the name" things.
