A Provari output, which is only VV, is 600hz most other VV or VW mods are about 33-36hz at any voltage or wattage setting. This makes the Provari's smooth delivery of power closer to what a mech mod gives you. I've had a VMax and broke it in 3 months, about standard for most of my mods up until then. My Provari is almost 9 months old and other than scratches and dings it works the same as the day I got it. At the time I bought it I thought it was the best value for me. Not the least expensive or the most but the best value. My VMax cost me almost $100 when I bought it. 3 months dead, 9 months still like new!
Please don't get mad at me or call me a fanboy, in the months I've been on this thread I always refer to my Provari as my main PV. If I had to do it again if I could afford it I'd buy another one, that is if I didn't have one no need for 2. Now I like my mech at home, but go through batteries like crazy cause I don't like the voltage drop.
This may be the longest post I've made here.
