ROFLMAO , Of couse he brought Mac Donalds home ,, it is a guy thing LOL>

I cant wait to see the pics Medic:) That is great ! I hope you have a big smile !!

Not this guy. The wife and daughter *both* have to give me a logical argument supporting why we should go to McDonald's any time they want to go while they are with me. Needless to say, most McDonald's visits are made when daddy is asleep...

I have a smile, but it is a tired smile. Jason woke up at 11:45 last night and cried on and off for an hour, then I got up at 5.:( So I am one tired grandma. I will be so glad when he is old enough to tell me what is wrong so I can understand him.

How old is Jason? We taught Rhianna Baby Signs and by the time she was four months old she could tell us when her diaper needed changing and at six months she could tell us when she was hungry or thirsty, if something hurt and how badly, &c.

Wasn't like having a conversation, but it was SO much easier than having no idea why she was crying...

He is 18 months old. He will wake up and cry out 2 or 3 times (just enough to make sure I am awake) I go in rub his head and he is back asleep. Between 15 and 30 minuteslater he does it again. I don't know if it is pain, dream, or fear. He has got a few words understandable but alot I still can't make out.

You might want to go ahead and give the baby signs a try, I don't think it's "too late." I know having them as a background helped Rhianna learn to speak a lot quicker and be able to express herself more effectively...

But yeah, life's a whole lot easier once you can ask questions and get answers...

Good Morning everyone !

I have never heard of baby signs . It sound really neat though . Is that anything like signs for the deaf etc?
I had never thought of that for a child but it sounds like a lifesaver if it works .

Almost exactly. It's ASL adapted for small, pudgy fingers with less motor control :)

Good Night Pwyll LOL

Sorry, had to go to the bank to re-arrange finances to pay for a "new" mod--but this is my "last hurrah" today as it's three hours past my bed time :)

Good morning, Mini--I go to bed now ;)

My son's friend had a really bad car wreck in SC. He went up there because it was so bad and they wasn't sure he would survive. He is going to be okay, after a long recovery, so he will be back tomorrow to pick up Jason. Beach cottage is not baby proof, lots of toddler danger in reach, so I didn't go.
Maybe tomorrow if my son gets here early enough.
