I placed an order last night, order # 26306. After I placed the order, I noticed the shipping time on prod v2 to be 2-3 weeks. Well I have a prod v1 that needs repairs, and I want something to use while its off being repaired. So I opened a ticket very soon after, and asked to change the order, no response yet, I come to forums and see that you answer people on the forum before people on your website. So here I am, once again, asking to be helped. Ticket # 2061714. I would like the abridged order shipped today or tomorrow if poss.

You have to love Nashville area drivers in snow. It is the only city I ever lived where people drive 90 in the rain and switch lanes without a signal or looking into the mirror but let a dust of snow drop and they lose their minds!

Welcome to the Nashville are Puresmoker team. I lived there for 5 years and near there for 20. I hope your enjoying it. I really love the people there but the traffic is nuts and the construction has been going on since before I was born *snicker*

So I got the order yesterday, sent an email asking bout sending my crossthreaded prodigy v1 in for repair on endcap and switch, a ticket was already opened for repair a month ago, but I wanted a device to get me thru repair time. I now have that device, from puresmoker mind you, 140 dollar order. Now I get an email saying they have on record that I already had repairs done to my prodigy. Really, what was repaired, who repaired it? When was this repair done, what are the shipping dates on the returned repair? Ridiculous. I've never had anything repaired or sent back anything to puresmoker. My ecig purchases are going to someone else if this BS keeps up.

It states on our website that cross threading is not covered under our warranty (of course keep in mind that the V1 carried a 6 month warranty, not the new lifetime warranty):

PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!

"WARRANTY: Limited Life Time Warranty -- Cross Threading is not Warrantied."

I apologized for my error, and not checking my records thoroughly. I will not apologize for informing you of our policy- that cross threading is not covered.

I'm not upset that you took this to the forum- that's fine. I just appreciate being given more than 45 minutes to respond to something and correct it before it's publicly aired. It's a public forum- you have the right to post whatever you want.

When I ordered the Prodigy, the only thing the warranty stated was "6 months on hard parts, not including atomizers and batteries". I consider ANYTHING else a HARD part. You go and change the warranty and everyone who purchased before the change gets screwed huh? NICE My inbox is piling up, not ONE msg sent to me disagrees. You people had better start treating your loyal customers better. I for one, am mounting a mission, you have ...... off the wrong person.

No reply to the warranty being changed? I have several people message me and say they remember the warranty before it changed. How could that have been the original warranty when cross-threading had yet to become an issue on the Prodigy V1. I have searched a couple of numbers people can call to formally complain about your tactics.

There are also forum rules regarding being polite and abusive argument.

5. Members must be polite at all times. When addressing another Forum user, you will be polite. Courteous discussion is welcome here but heated and abusive argument is not. If attacked you are not allowed to respond in kind. Instead use the Private Message system and try to resolve matters privately and amicably. If problems persist ask for the help of a Moderator.

I don't think cross threading was ever or should ever be a warranty issue.
I think that would fall under the category of misuse and abuse.

I'll be kind Brokj, just not YOUR kind. Get off your high horse and wake up, being kind gets you nowhere when they are ignoring their responsibilities. I think PS knows something, and they know their business isn't going to be around much longer, that is why they don't care about their longtime customers. New day, so many calls to make, numbers to post.

brock do u not trust j0kers judgement call as a moderator?why didnt you report the post?j0ker responded to hdbanger having read the posts and alerted him to the rules he thought were in danger of being broken...had he objectively thought hdbanger was breaking the rule you mentioned do you not trust him to add it also?

so my answer to you is that is just your OPINION that hdbanger is breaking this rule and not a fact.

if u feel so you should have reported him for the post to be deleted.and if you did and it hasnt then there is a reason why it is still out there.

also it is your opinion(you are entitled to this opinion i am not disputing this) that the cross threading shouldnt be an issue but it is a FACT that when hdbanger purchased his unit this was not mentioned in the warranty for the user to know therefore the user would assume it is covered. It is also fact that at a later date the warranty was changed ot include crossthreading...if i ammistaken i will graciously accept so but i would like to see both former and current warranties in evidence?

Well I cannot post the emails Casey sent me, but I can and will say what she said to me. In the first email, she said that they only cover user error ONE time, and she points out I already had repairs done by their records. Then she finds out SHE was wrong and I have never had any repairs. So now the reply is, "we dont cover user error". Make up your mind Casey, do you cover user error ONE time, or NEVER. Regardless, this is NOT user error, but a design flaw.
And people wonder why I'm angry. Ill send copies of the correspondance back and forth to anyone who wishes to see.

When there is a manufacturing or design issue it most certainly should be a warranty issue ... especially considering the warranty text was changed after OPs purchase to remove the potential liability from the design flaw.

Just my $.02.

Cross threading is not a design flaw, it is user error or abuse which is not covered by the warranty. Get over it and be more careful.
