well i finally lowered my nic!

I have been thinking about lowering my nic for a few weeks but was too scared to do it in case it wasn't enough. I had a nearly full 30ml bottle of 20mg so I finally decided to order a zero nic juice exactly the same and I mixed 3ml of each to make 10mg. I am quite surprised that I don't even notice a difference. Am I right in thinking that the same quantity of 20mg and 0mg will make 10mg? I think I will mix the remaining juice up and just stick to that for the moment. Then when that runs out I may try lowering it even further maybe to 5.

As long as they are the same nic level and same volume of juice, you can add the nic milligrams together and divide by 2. When you start mixing different volumes and nic levels together, then there's a mixing table to go by.

I think there might be slightly less throat hit, but that makes no difference to me and because I mixed the exact same flavours it tastes exactly the same and i'm not craving more nic so that's good. Been using it for 3 days now and if I can get the nic even lower I might eventually be able to vape just for the fun of it instead of actually needing it.

To simplify the calculations, mix equal amount of each and not different ml amount. In your example, your 9ml volume represents 3 parts to your 1 part of 3ml juice in terms of nic level and amounts. So, you would add the nic levels in the 9ml juice 3 times and the nic levels in the 3ml juice once, then divide by four. 20/4=5. Yes, it would then be 5mg juice.

Yay - that is so fantastic! What an accomplishment for you...yes - I say you can get down to 0-nic and just vape for the fun of it - I did! Way to go and keep up the good work!

Thanks dave, I am going to mix the rest of the juice to 10ml now that I know I am fine with it then I will think about lowering it again after that. The 60mls should last me a month or maybe more so hopefully I will be ready to lower it more after that.

when I dropped from 24 to 18 to 12 I didn't notice a difference it was the drop from 12 to 8mg it felt like something was missing so I up my voltage and all was good again, then I dropped from 8 to 6 to where I'm at now 4mgs and again I didn't notice the difference, I think I'll stay at 4mg for another month then drop to 2mg
