Well, I think I'm addicted... Ok, I officially switched... Ok, well, maybe I traded one addiction for TWO

Started vaping regular 2 weeks ago...

VAMO V2 + ProTank2 + N-Port liquid.....

Quit smoking IMMEDIATELY... Like, OK AWESOME!!!!

Still getting my nicotine addiction on, but in a hopefully safer way... good deal....

Now, I picked up another addiction (as I see many on here seem to suffer from) -- FLAVORS & EQUIPMENT........

UH-OH

At first I'm like, ok, just another flavor or two and one more tank so I can separate my ADV and my flavor....

Went back, picked up some butterscotch & a nautilus....

2 weeks in... Now I have 2 Nautilus's with a bunch of BVCs and the Protank 2...

N-port in one, (have about 45ml of that on hand)

Butterscotch in one (about 45ml of that)

Just got in 30ml of 1CZC Caramelized Cappuccino from Vermillion River ..... (YUM)

Ordered 30ml Ahlusion's Tiramisu yesterday

Just ordered 50ml H1N1 from Nicoticket.....

Already thinking about another mod.............

I know that's not much compared to some, but damn....... I see this to be at a minimum, habit forming!!!

Reluctantly and embarrassingly agreeing and sympathizing with you. Went down the same road. Two months now and I have a bottom shelf with so much juice I had to move my coffee. Fortunately, I found my Sigelie v5 early on. Got one for a backup and I'm happy. I think I've finally found my menthol tobacco ADV and I'm happy. I jumped on the hurtling Nautilus Mini bandwagon and got two with a bunch of coils and I'm happy.

Maybe just try a few more flavors...yeah, that's coming.

Habits traded for habits. And I thought I'd be ahead with what I spent on cigs...

give it a little while. i have identified 3 stages of vape addiction.

1. fascination. cause its so good and you can't believe you ever smoked.

2. acquisition. some call it "shinyitis" or "gas" (gear acquisition syndrome)

3. optimization. when you have everything you could possibly want (within reason) the desire to make your equipment work as well as possible.

personally i am a stage 3 vaper . so i really can't say what stage 4 is all about. good luck to us all.:D

Hello and welcome Mike! Glad to have you with us here at ECF.....I totally understand the "addiction" part. I was just thinking yesterday that I have ENOUGH gadgets and need to focus more on just enjoying the vape. There will always be something I want but the need isn't there anymore.I'm trying the Protank 3 for the first time and really really liked it until these past 2 days cuz' it's leaking and gurgling like mad. I put the second coil in and it just taste blah :(. Back to my cartotanks and RBA's for now.

I did rebuild the coil in the first atty for the Protank 3 and am still having the same problems. I figure I just need to step away from it for a while and tackle it another day before I get really frustrated.

I'm on my way as well. I've been smoke free for 28 days. I've spent a total of $225.67 on gear and liquid so far. I'll be ordering another $150 worth of gear in a couple of weeks. According to my sig banner, I'm not saving a lot of money, lol.

(disclaimer: saving money was never a primary consideration to start vaping and quit smoking)

Congrats on quitting the ciggies, the way I see it (*and laugh at the $3100 Detra up there has as a savings on his banner) I knew that wasn't going to happen well not for a few months at least, knowing Ed and I, we jump all in to a hobby (motorcycles being our main and consistent one)

but three months in, we've found what we like, have stuck to a budget (we did NOT stick to it the first month) and are breaking even at least, if not a tad ahead if you include respiratory Rxs I was having to take, health costs.

it's starting to even out...but I can relate! :)

yep... I think it's going to have to balance for awhile for me... I'm already interested in some of the mech stuff and dripping, but I'm going to have to force myself to take a break for at least a couple weeks. I'm really fighting the urge to pick up an MVP2 cause that sick mind of mine keeps saying, what if the vamo dies on me... I need a backup... lol... And battery life on the vamo isn't exactly great with these power hungry bvc heads in the nautilus. Of course those heads may also be talking me out of that though due to the wattage ceiling... These things like power after a few hour break in so I may just wait and buy something good after I get out of the hole (hole being spending more on vaping than smoking).

But this is definitely way more enjoyable than smoking... Thats the problem!! Smoking was almost like maintenance for a while now, not really enjoyable, just did it...

Vaping is enjoyable!!!!

Absolutely LOVING this Caramelized Cappuccino... My first coffee vape...

I'm still in stage 2. I've got to stop coming to this forum, all of the discussion of new gear plays havoc with my will power!
