I've searched but going through all the various sites and able to take advice from fellow makers helps me skip the growing pains. I'm new to this and working on what will be my best options for my new process.
the site we were discussing above also has a forum for discussion/questions and you can also comment directly on the recipes themselves to get help from the recipe creator or others that have made it. i personally just went with well reviewed recipes with flavors I liked and ordered those flavors, added the flavors to my stash and clicked the 'what can i make' button for a list of more recipes and sorted by rating.

You are off to a better start than i was. While i had reading material i didnt take full advantage of a site like this when i started DIY so it was trial and error at first... but like anything in my life (never easy) i likely learned more by making mistakes than just being told the right way to do things all along :D

I just made 30ml of green apple pineapple the apple is to muted and I was to short on that flavor to touch it up I think I'm going to kick up the pineapple to make it awesome. I'm going to let it steep some b4 I start messing with it as I don't want it to get to strong either. I think from now on I'll order more than 1 dram size flavors for my samples.
