Well, I'm new and here is my setup! Experienced vapers comment please!

I am currently rocking a smoketech bolt 3.7 volt PV.

I have read where these aren't the most reliable machines built, so I ordered a provari, and next week I'm going for the golden Greek..


Yes they are expensive, but it's working for me so reliability is a MUsT!

Does anyone have any experience with the BOLTs?? I hear the wiring is chinsy, and that's been the main complaint.

If reliability and versatility are important, you haven't gone wrong by ordering a Provari.

Kay is right. You can't go wrong with the Provari. I tried other APVs and have sold them all and ordered a 2nd Provari and when I can I will order a 3rd just to be safe. If you don't end up using your GG as much you can get 100% of your money back in the classifieds so I thing you made some great choices and the Bolt was a good one to start out with in my opinion and Will last longer than you think I bet but even if you do run in to a problem with it you won't be out much. I think you made some really great decisions.

Between my lady and I we have two Provaris. I have a standard, she has a mini. She bounces between her mini, and a mini Reo. The bottomfeeder Reo's are great too.

I had a Bolt, was a pretty decent entry level mod until it broke on me. Lasted about 2.5 months. I wish I would have just saved my money and got a Silver Bullet. Got one now and it works great as a 3.7 mod.

Well I have my provari now, and WOW what a difference. The consistency of the vape is awesome.

I have played around with cartomizers, and clearomizers, and I have found my happy place..

I'm having second thoughts on the GG, as I'm actually vaping at 3.2v and I'm loving it..

I think I'll go with another provari.. I like the idea of a fully mechanical PV though, GGs are out of stock til the 15th, so I'll just wait until then to decide.

Yup, you don't mess around, do you? LOL! Congrats on the Provari, I'm still shying away from it because of the Price Tag but I now have 2 Lavatubes, went straight to that from a mini, skipped the intermediate mods, and never looked back. Haven't used my Greensmoke since (2+ months)..... Happy vaping!

Whichever you decide, it's always a good thing to have lots of backups! The Provari is SOLID! But, you just never know when something abnormal (accidentally drop it on the toilet one morning? LOL!) might happen and you'd be stuck with nothin! And be sure to have lots of cartos, juice, batteries, and even a second charger. I have 4 batteries (and getting more soon), and two chargers. And if you haven't already done so, I'd highly recommend a really good charger, like the Pila charger.

Backups are crucial. They are the spare tires of vaping. Don't stray far from home without one.

Provari is a good PV. I can get just as good from an eGo and a Smoketech DCT tank, but battery life is much better with some heft in the battery department on the Provari. I also like variable voltage on my Provari. Sometimes, you just have to crank a couple of tenths of a volt to get to the sweet spot.

The main selling points of the Provari are workmanship, features, and service. It's built like a finely crafted example of good engineering. You get the voltage you select at the atomizer with no apologies. If you buy a Provari, you can actually get it repaired stateside for a reasonable price if it fails and upgrades are inexpensive and available. People are now getting their V1's upgraded to V2's for $20 and that includes return shipping. The reported turnaround is 7 to 10 days average from shipping to receiving it back again.
