Started smoking at 13, started vaping at the end of March last year at 43 - had a rocky first 6 months. But I've just passed the one year mark without a cigarette. I guess there's no turning back now! 
Well, now I've gone and done it...

Thanks all...It's funny - I was extremely active here for a long time. I have been dealing with health issues ever since I quit smoking. I also got a new job that's pretty much taken over my life. I have gotten so involved in getting better and this new job that the hobby vaping that I had started to get into has really taken a back seat.
I popped back here to catch up a little, and saw my signature. I'm at the point right now that vaping has replaced smoking so successfully that I'm hardly into it like I was, it's like I just grab my vape and get on with life.
But I love this forum and everyone I've gotten to know here. And I'm truly grateful for the opportunity that vaping gives to us - I'm absolutely certain that I would still be smoking if I hadn't found ECF.

If you're lucky, so to speak, the same thing will happen to you next year like what happened to me: I completely forgot it was my 2 year anniversary. That, in it's own way, was a very good thing.

Good job! I had my first cigarette after 2 years just to see if I truly missed them. Got 2 puffs in and had to put it out! I will never go back. Once you see there is something different its just not the same.
Congratulations Alisa for being one year cig free! 
You will be an inspiration to new comers in the vaping world that even long time smokers can change their lives for the better.
I look forward to when I also pass the one year milestone but I have quite a ways to go yet but I will not falter!!
