i've rebuilt vivi nova with straight kanthal and the resistance isn't the issue.. i think the issue is the kanthal heating up.. i don't see how the legs heating up in a unit like this would be a problem since its all ceramic and ss.. hmmmm
ViVi nova coil legs are so short that there would be not much change in resistance but we're talking about a much greater length here.
With the Nova's it was to prevent the burning rubber gasket but this is necessary with the terminator because of the length from the coil to the connections.
I have seen where some folks are only using NR on the positive lead as the negative is much shorter but it will work best with nr on both leads.
Igetcha69's video review @9:15 shows just how simple it is to attach the two wires together, this is the way I do it also,

I ordered and received a Terminator C and set it up for a friend of mine, really nice, I like the idea of being able to use one or both tanks. Even the base of the mouth piece is slimmed down a little for more juice capacity. Quite a bit for only $65.
Stormy's Vapor Cellar will have more mouth pieces and tanks in the near future

I guess Stormy has all kinds of Terminator parts available on her site right now
