Got the terminator just as i was leaving town. Set it up quickly with a 2.3 ohm coil filled it and out the door i went for a 6hour drive. It worked ok but could not play with it while driving. Home after 4 days of sitting with 98 year old aunt in nursing home and glad to be here. Started playing with it. Works great i am still on first tank of 18 mg juice.
1. Like everything it took about a half tank to get cooking good.
2. Turn cap till it starts flooding then back in till it quits. Then hold on. I think I will have to cut down on nic level as this is way to strong taste great but my head is spinning. Noticed this same thing with the cobra.
3. Waiting for me when I got home was a penelope which the guy had set up for me before shipping it with a 1.5 ohm coil, works fantastic at 3.7 v and works the same way open it up till it floods a little and then turn it back down. It's got me dizzy will have to order juice with less nic.
I love my vivi novas and they don't seem to have the kick your ... in 4 puffs. I will try turning the volts down and see what
happens.
They both work great, but it will give a slight edge to the penelope.
The terminator is a real heavy beast I think they could have shaved some weight off it somewhere. Maybe the plastic tanks from rampage might help' I take it they fit the terminator.
All said I am very happy with them both and still love my vivi novas, too.

Just wanted to let you know that you dont have to keep closing the juice flow off and on, just open it so you get the amount that you like. That could be part of the strong taste you are getting, unless of course you like that. I saturate the wick after setting it up. Put the mouthpiece on closed all the way. Put the tank body on, fill , put the top cap on , then the nut. Take a few puffs, then open the juice flow counter clock wise a few turns till I get a nice moist vape and keep it that way till its out of juice. You will tell youre out of juice when the vape gets dry and or you get a sort of dry change in the taste of your juice. The amount of juice flow depends on the thickness of your juice, open wider for thick and less for thin. When setting it up, take a look at the channels and you should see the wick under the mouth piece. This must be open enough so the juice can wick up to the coils. I hope that helps
Just read your post again, and saw that you have a Penelope, sorry I hope you didnt think that I thought you were doing something wrong, you obviously do. I just thought that you had said you were closing it down and opening etc. Even people who have the Ody and Pene have used theirs and were unhappy with the taste until they figured out they had not opened the juice flow.

I just ordered another Terminator, I don't know what I need two for. Notice even the availability (or lack of) is as similar to the originals.
As I have said in previous posts, I don't think that I could be any more pleased than I am with the Terminator, my only possible complaint might be that it needs to hold more juice but it is the short mode and I have a tank and mouth piece coming.

I am really looking forward to these. i have 3 coming in a co-op. I would rather wait a couple weeks and get 3 for $60 than get it at Stormy's and pay $60 for one. It seems Stormy's always charges a lot when they first get things. just like they did with the Did clones. They will be forced to bring the price down ehen other vendors start selling them for less. I think this may be the best clone yet. I was kinda hoping they would start copying the ODY. 
If you are tired of waiting for the real Cobra, Phiniac.com still has a few 3ml tanks available. They just posted them yesterday.
While that looks the same, that company has yet to produce any of these clones.
It seems they are cloning the previous clone.
is it possible to build this without using NR wire? what if i use 32awg kanthal all the way to ground and positive.. NR just seems like such a hassle and only thing keeping me from ordering this..
I suppose you could make the coil legs twice as long and fold the up and twist them like some folks do with ViVi Nova coil legs. There is nothing difficult about using NR wire. If you used it straight like you suggest it is going to heat the whole length and be like 6 ohm or something.
i've rebuilt vivi nova with straight kanthal and the resistance isn't the issue.. i think the issue is the kanthal heating up.. i don't see how the legs heating up in a unit like this would be a problem since its all ceramic and ss.. hmmmm
