Some vendors have websites without checkout option and work thru email orders then invoice via paypal or some other payment method but thats a big hassle especially when you have a site coming onboard at anytime. :) It is messed up when the host can't tell you what the problem they are having with your site...thats just plain wrong. It must be very frustrasting for Isaac.

My 2c worth...

Online payment systems (such as Paypal) have been a great benefit if, like me, you live and bank in a country different from the supplier. I live in Mexico, buy things online using a British credit card and have the goods shipped to a US mailing address.

This simply would not be feasible without the online services we have access to.

I have to agree as soon as I knew it would of been more than a week I would of started letting people do mail in orders.

Im sure he didn't know or want it to be this long. If you read his tweets he is very upset with the host/registrar that haven't figured exactly the issue...at least is what Im understanding.

Im not saying he isnt upset or knew it was gonna take this long but if it was me I would of kept my business going with mail order. It coudnt of hurt any and if it got back up in a week than u stop the mail orders and just fill the ones u have.

I'd be lying if I said I wish he wouldn't do it. I would be first to send in a order. I didn't mean to imply you thought he knew just commenting at this point with the site so close to being up it probably not worth it. :)

I just want to order.

I am not sure what the deuce the tech people are doing but they could have rebuilt the entire database from scratch by now.

Not trying to sound rude but what happens if something goes wrong after your site is up??? Are they going to be able to fix it quicker than what they are showing you now?

Yeah I have to agree. Someone in the "know" who setting his site up appears to not be doing their job well. Im sure Isaac giving someone an ear full....if it were me I would.

Just to comment on the last two posts -

From what I've been told, Isaac is doing all of this himself. There is no 'tech group'; I've given him pointers - as I'm sure others have - but who knows. After being screwed over by the last "tech" that built his last site, I can't blame him for wanting to do it all himself. Right now there is an issue with the domain registrar. I just got online (3 days without power due to bad storm) and when Isaac and I talked over the last couple days it was more about necessary things (health and wellness, supplies, etc). I'm sure we'll touch on other things now that I have heat/hot water/and power again... but we will see.

Hey guys, Thanks Jonny. Always good to see you Lofty. :)
They are right though. If it isn't cleared up by tomorrow or so, I'm thinking taking in a few orders
a day. maybe 20?

If your serious I love to try a new io6 1.8Ω and a tip to fit. How would we order it ( I don't know the email address )
