I had to have mine checked for E8 error... not user fault.

I was contacted on the forum here after posting my questions... i didn't have to even contact them.

I sent it in, and they fixed it and i had it back all within 10 days.

I had a Darwin that was problematic... overheating, not taking a charge. They sent new one before I could even send mine in... wow.
In the end, I got the same problem (just 2 bad units) and i accepted a refund (of course i paid shipping each time) which was super of them, but i gave up because the Provari is easier to use imo.

after all this: THey are both top quality pv's ... state of the (new) art... just different in small ways.

THere is a BUzz Pro coming out in a month, and an Eclipse eq..... that makes 4 new "smart" pv's.
IMO only way to go - regulated variable power.

The Infinity is a less expensive, less fine but still reg.variable power.

Unfortunately OP, this is a relatively new science (and made in America)... i consider myself lucky to be here with these new devices, and also a happy to support them.

You have no idea about bad customer service. Try Vaprlife with the joke of a PV, the Joker. It took them 6 days to get any answer back and 3 more days of snotty emails blaming me for a DOA unit. After they guaranteed the 5 day turnaround, I pulled the plug. 15% restocking fee and they gave me 3 days to return the unit with the 3rd day falling on a Saturday.

I am not saying that Provape is perfect, by any means. They do stand by their product, however. This industry is in a constant state of evolution, so it may take a few more years until they nail things down.

If anybody wants A+++++++++++++ customer service - I can vouch for Ikenvape, SuperT and Clouds of Vapor. I'm sure there are others out there, but these vendors display no type of attitude if you have a problem or questions and are right there to help. I'm sure there are others, but the above are the ones I do business with.

I didn't get the extended warranty but I figured if it don't work after a year I'll just buy another one or something else. As far as contacting them "you can't call them" and have to fill out a form on their website. I don't know who the person is that responded but the idiot called me Chris and my name is Charles(Chuck). That person told me to send it back with a copy of the email they sent me so they know it's my Provari(wtf?)

This is horrible customer service and when buying something that isn't exactly cheap you would think they could of called me since I gave them my number and I couldn't call them.

Hi Charles,

I would like to mention that we offered to repay you for shipping which was left out of the post and that all of your emails were promptly answered in a polite way. We asked that you send the unit in so we could check it out and we would cover the shipping costs and promptly return the unit. I don't feel we have been unreasonable in any of the emails in trying to help resolve the problem. From the last email we got it appears things were working good but if you are still having problems please let us know.

Sounds like the provari guy is on top of it! Maybe when this is resolved, he can change the thread name to "Happy Provari Customer". I'm fixing to get a VV, and I'm on the fence between the Provari, and the new Buzz Pro. Glad to see the Provari response to this thread. I'll probably wait to see some reviews of the new Buzz before I make my decision. That Provari sure is sweet looking though..... Decisions, decisions....

My mom would say; " It's their process"... life is like that in this realm; it's a testament to Provape there aren't more...

sizemoore, good on you to wait, but I've a feeling you'll see that Provape is the class act of them all (for now). I've got two Vari's, and if the Buzz Pro was available now, I'd have one winging in, but not without the Vari being here.
The Buzz has been around, and the Pro is a slight improvement, but the Buzz, in my mind, is like the regulated power pv from the other side of the tracks. i.e. Not sure I'll like the dial as much as the Vari button.
I'll have one for a lighter version of how mwa rolls... different pv's for different juices/ accessories.
Yeah, I kinda figured there were parts left out of the story. This is a lesson both ways - some electronics will have problems, and the ProVari isn't an exception to that rule. And some people will never be happy, no matter how well they're treated.

The main reason I chose the provari instead of waiting for the Buzz Pro is because the caps on the Buzz are made of brass, so eventually thats $20 every time the threads wear out. It also doesn't do half the things that the provari does in terms of display, nor does it even have an LED screen, and has a lower range of voltages. I didn't even refer to it as the cheaper PV pricewise with the cap issues, nor did I see a free shipping option so throw that in. The provari just looked nicer to me, I could be wrong but thats why I went with the provari.

Funny how that goes, ain't it? Those little details being left out...

BTW if anyone is interested I have both a black ProVari & a Darwin. Guess what. Apples and oranges. .In the end it's all about finding the sweet spot. Both do it flawlessly. Both are well made, well designed and dealing with both providers has been a pleasure. That having been said if I were to lose both tomorrow I would without hesitation replace the ProVari first..

I forgot to add: I got a response from ProVape the same day and once I gave them the UPS tracking number, they put a replacement in the post to me.

Perfect would have been no issues; in the real world .... happens, but the supplier needs to step up when it does. ProVape most certainly did in my case.

This is not a cult mentality that completely dismisses problems as with some people who have a favorite supplier, and that supplier can do nothing wrong. It's almost as if this genre of person is saying "I made a brilliant choice; how dare you cast even the slightest dispersion on my darling!"

This incident is a case of someone who has lost all credibility because he/she did not tell the whole story.
