Yes I prime coils and no I don't chain vape , I don't have this problem with my helmet, I don't get good flavour from helmet that's why I don't use it as much
Hmm. We know the 0.4 frequently causes trouble above 45 watts, despite the claims of the manufacturers (I mean, this is another of the great BS of the e-cig world)... 40 is not exactly much less and who knows about the exact performance of every liquid.
I would stop running it at 40w. If you enjoy 40w, then try another tank (or coil resistance)
My feeling is we should all take manufacturers ratings with a large dose of cynicism.
When a coil burns the wick, it usually Stays burnt.
As Djsvapour suggests, lower your wattage to about 20, & gradually bring it up slowly. About a third of a tank. Some coils need to be broken in gradually..

yeah... had to explain that to my hubby... after he was blowing up coils... now I prep them before I give them to him since I'm rbaing.
I always start at 15 and build up to 40 over an 1hr or 2 , coils are still not lasting I'm getting 3 /4 days max . I do vape very sweet liquids which I've been told don't help but 4 days is nothing when others get 2 week or a month
People aren't really getting 2 weeks vaping 8-10 ml a day. I guess my feeling is the same as your other thread; if you vape this way you're going to accumulate costs. How about doing at least some of your vaping with an RDA. I vape on basic equipment during the working day. You can't have it all, unless you are prepared to spend a lot.
heh, I know what I am doing with coils mostly, I know about coil killing juices etc... I'm using a premade, I'm trying a better build with my lone rba(hubby is actually using the other) I have for my pro tank, so premade in.. and I know if I get more than 4 days out of this coil I'm going to be damned lucky. why? I know this juice is sweet as hell, it's raspberry cotton candy and ohhhh so damn goooddd! I was changing the cotton every 4-5 days on the RBA, because I'm vaping 10 -15ml of it a day and the cotton and coils were a disgusting black/brown leaking gunk into the juice. what you vape and how much of it, is going to dictate how long those coils are going to last... I have some juices, yep I could definitely go a few weeks without changing a coil, they're the odd ones since I have a serious sweettooth with my vaping.
