What are the benefits to getting a variable voltage battery?

Voltage x Voltage / Resistance (ohms) = Watts

The wattage is ultimately what you're aiming for. Most people have a "sweet spot" around let's say 6-8w (YMMV) which can be reached with various voltage/resistance combinations. A very rudimentary way to look at it is low resistance/low volts; high resistance/high volts. The next minutiae you get into is amps, but you have to pass this class first. Here's the chart:

Not all VV PVs are the same. You can look around on youtube for some reviews on some of them. Check out the Ego Twist, Vamo, Zmax, Evic, Provari and the Anyvape CVI. I may have missed a few. I only have one VV PV so I don't keep up on all the others. Someone else may want to add to this list if I missed any. A few of them are variable wattage too.Hope this helps

Another good VV PV is the VV Gripper. It has a battery door that a lot of people think is "flimsy", but mine is over 4 months old and it's still fine. Just don't play rough with it or go jerking/yanking/knocking it around! Dropping it isn't a good idea either. But having to be a little gentle with a battery door (that you only have to deal with when changing batteries, after all) is worth the trade off for a truly amazing vape. I have several VV PVs, and none really impressed me previous to the Gripper. Now, with the Gripper, I AM impressed. Checks ohms and battery life level, too. Sweet thing. A friend of mine is a ProVari owner (2..or is it 3?) and loves them (of course), but he says that the Gripper is the only other VV device he's had that holds a candle to the Holy Grail of ProVari for performance.

Ive been reading a lot of your comments on the Smokteck Telescope and you seem too really love the PV,just wondering if you still happy with it,i treid it out in the store and i fell in love.Would you choose this over the vamo SS?,,dont mean too high jack this thread.
