What are the risks of using a carto on a battery with a different threading?

Lets say I have a battery that's not 510 but 510 cartos fit it and it fires off and produces vapor. What are the risks of this? I know using the wrong kind of charger on a battery can have explosive consequences but what about a carto or attie?

If the threading fits, it is probably fine to use. There are a lot of devices out there that use 510 threading. There are only a few kinds of ecig threading, and they do not at all fit between them, so if it fits, vape it!
