Hey guys, I just was curious to see what liquids you guys are "working on" - maybe we can give suggestions to each other or try them ourselves.
Right now I'm working on a tobacco/maple/brown sugar flavor. I'm still new, so what I did was mixed individual flavors with nic base and then added these flavors to a "final" mix. My brown sugar is still really light, so I will need to add more flavor to that one.
Anyway, right now I'm using:
-40 drops Hangsen RY1 (ECX - 5 drops to 5ml base)
-40 drops Real Cig (VZ - I think 5-6 drops to 5ml base)
-75 drops Maple (LorAnn - 2 drops to 3ml)
-55 drops Brown Sugar (TFA - 2 drops to 5ml base)
-2 tiny drops of AP (TFA - drops from those little plastic pipettes that come with TFA orders)
-1-2 tiny drops of MTS Vape Wizard
I just updated the juice tonight but so far it's tasting really good! I think the Real Cig is still overpowering the juice a bit, but I will try it again after a week to see how it steeped. The Brown Sugar is still really light but I can taste it, it has a slightly sweet hint to it. It's a little woody, slightly nutty.. still not very mapley so I will probably add more of that. Maybe some Graham Cracker. Maybe another tobacco as well? Not sure..
Any suggestions? This is pretty much my first real flavor I'm mixing myself...
One thing I'm wondering about is figuring out real flavor percentages when I get the perfect mixture.. especially because I've been mixing flavors by drops, then drops from THOSE mixes into the final product. Hopefully that won't be too much of a pain in the ....!
I haven't tried higher, but I like it at 1 drop per ml - I used that because that's what I've seen people suggest on this forum in a bunch of places. How did the drop per mil work on the Hangsen RY1? that would be about 3%, some vendors say 5-7%. I have RY2, USA Mix, and Desert Ship coming in the mail and would like to know where I should aim on these Hangsens due to never using them before
I am not in the same class as some of you. But I am trying to do a rhurbarb cheesecake. The last run was rather weak so I am upping the cheesecake and rhurbarb. And this time around I also added graham cracker and lemon juice. The graham cracker may have been too much. But when I added a bit of lemon it was much better.
cheesecake 4 drops
rhurbarb 4 drops
graham cracker 2 drops
lemon juice 1 drop
60/40 base 32 drops
Thank you I may take you up on that, it is nice to get feedback. I wanted to add another note. When I mix and taste I don't have nicotine in the mix. I calculate how much to add based on the volume that will exist when nicotine is added, but I am actually flavoring everything but the nicotine. This helps me be able to vape as much as I want in tasting without giving me a nic od. When it is good I add the nicotine. Then my yummy chocolate turned bitter. This happens with most of my mixes and a few days steep will return them to about what they were before.
So with this lovely yummy goodness... it is now bitter but it hasn't been 24 hours yet. I am now tasting and tweaking a 10 ml batch. To mellow this first 10ml batch out so I can vape it now while the 90 ml's steep I added two drops of dark chocolate balsamic vinegar... I am sure good old apple cider vinegar would do the same, but hey I'm making chocolate and this is a staple in my salad dressing mixes so I used it. I also added 8 drops stavia (10% stavia in PG fluid)
those little additions to my 10 ml vape it now bottle mellowed it out nicely
where did you get the rhubarb? I want some too!
Didn't realize you were in OP. I work there, but I live in KC.

I haven't purchased any rhurbarb flavoring but I think it is one of the easiest to make and vape straight. I used two stalks of rhubarb cut into about 1/2 inch chunks and dried them in a single layer on a cookie sheet in my oven at 170 degrees. It only took a couple of hours to dry them til there were brightly colored and shriveled. I then tossed them in a 4 oz glass jar covered them with PG and put a lid on them. They were lovely in two days. If you use the red stalks you will get lovely pink liquid if you use the green stalks you will get a pale green fluid. I just add nicotine and vape it is quite lovely.

Made another good juice in my book.. it's similar to my first one, though:
(using fully steeped individual flavors mixed with nic base again)
TOBACCO:
-40 drops Hangsen RY1
-40 drops Black Cigar
-40 drops Real Cig
FLAVORS:
-80 drops Maple
-60 drops Brown Sugar Extra
-50 drops Graham Cracker
-50 drops Ginger Bread
ADDITIVES:
-10 drops EM
-2 drops AP
-2 drops Vape Wizard
-4 drops Vinegar
It made about 10-11ml
I was afraid it might have been too many flavors, but it's delicious right off the bat. I still need to let it steep, though! Not sure how much different it will get since all the individual flavors are fully steeped. The vinegar definitely gives it a nicer throat hit (I think it's the vinegar)
It's very similar to my first juice which I like... I'm definitely in the ballpark to finding my perfect juice! I can't really think of what to tweak.. so after a week I will compare these two juices I've made and take it from there.. possibly even make a nice big 100ml bottle of it or something.
I took half of this blend and added 50 drops of vanilla custard (not pure flavor) to it, and it's also very delicious! Each time I tweak the blend it gets better! I love it.. Do you guys think there are "too many" flavors in it, though? I know taste is objective and to me it's delicious, but I wanna see if I'm overdoing it a bit haha.
It doesn't matter what we think the question is do you like it.
Well, Subver, you've done it again. I found another mix I want to try. I don't have maple or gingerbread, nor black cigar and realcig.
You've given me an idea to use some of the stuff I do have, though.
Thanks!!
