Right now I am reading the dragonlance chronicles by Wies and Hickman on the 3 book then I get to move on to dragonlance legends (read the first one a couple weeks ago then decided to read the first seres first)

I love reading but try not to do it too much or else I get nothing done and read a book a day. I have Mark Twain by my bed but I am so not getting into his books liked Tolstoy better...LOL

I greatly enjoyed the dragonlance books years ago. I have not read all the latest ones but the original ones were very good.

I have read and loved many of King's books, I tried The Dark Tower years ago and could not get into the first book. Many have told me that I need to re-visit it.

Under the Dome was a very good book, I finished that one last month.

As for George Martin I am refusing to read any of his books until he gets off his .... and finishes the Song of Fire and Ice series! I am scared he will die before he gets it done! Now that is a great fantasy read!

Swan Song is awesome. I just re-purchased a copy for my KINDLE, one of my old favorites.

I am waiting on A Dark Matter also, and thanks for the tip on Joe Hill, I have never heard of him, will have to check that out.

Book are awesome. Two things in life I would not want to live without would be books and dogs.
DG.....The Dark Tower is one of those series you can re-visit as often as you like.I have the last three in the series(Un-Read)That I am saving for a rainy day!

Swan Song is right up there with the Stand IMO.....Certain aspects of the book seem to deliver more at times....the ending was the only letdown(if you can call it that!)

Joe Hill is great....Some similarities to "Dad" while still incorporating his own unique style. Only two works in novel form(other than an occasional short story in some compilations).....20th Century Ghosts(short stories)which rivals anything his father has done in short story, and Heart Shaped Box(First full novel).Joe Hill is also the writer to an awsome Comic Book series called Locke and Key(I believe there is a graphic novel version that collects them all together),It's not Archie, that for sure...LOL

Glad to know we have more in common than snuff now!!..LOL

See you in the Library!

I finished The Unit last night, very interesting book and very different. Turns out it is set in Europe.

I enjoyed it.

I am now starting a Bernard Cornwell book, Sword Song

It is set in year 885 in England.
getting my library card out for The Unit!!(Sounds strangly familiar with the movie "Children of Man"?)

YES I do know of him although I did not recognize his name.. I read Heart Shaped Box. Not bad for a first novel.
