People who ask to try it. Uh... ew? I've let two people try mine. One is my mother. The other is a guy I work with who I've been friends with for so long that he's pretty much my brother. I had one other guy who tried it at my invitation, but didn't put his mouth on it. One guy just reached over the counter and stuck his mouth on it... I don't even know the guy's name! I had to throw the cartridge out! (I have a serious germ issue, so I had a hairy fit THEN I threw out the cartridge by handling it with six tissues)

Agreed. Gross! Even worse when they get all offended when you tell them no.
lol Like we're all still 6 and happy to swap lollipops, on the other hand, if someone like this walked up and asked to try, would I really have a niggling voice in my head saying "oh no! please don't put your lips on my cartomizer? Germs! Ugh?!" I don't think so!..:D Best practice, always carry condoms:

Except it doesn't help if they reach over and grab it without asking, like was stated.

I recently tried these new Stallion cartos. They reminded me of what I loved and absolutely HATE about using cartos. Love the "hybrid" horizontal coil; they are far better than the batch of boges 2.0ohm SCs I have. I really like the simplicity of carto tanks. But I HATE how cartos only last me 1 five ml tank before the insides look like a BBQ smoker and taste almost as bad. I usually just toss em at that point because honestly cleaning cartos is a waste of my time and effort because they just start to take on a "wet dish rag" taste no matter how clean I think I get them or how dry I think they are. At least with rebuildables I know I get a fresh coil and wick every time.

My other pet vape hate is giving a whole kit to someone who seemed enthusiastic about trying out vaping only to find out they NEVER use it after a few mins and don't tell you. They just let it sit in a drawer for months. I mean seriously, if it wasn't working or you can't seem to get any satisfaction from it , TELL ME! Maybe I can help, or if you figure it's just not for you, GIVE IT BACK to me, so I can give it to another person who would like to try it. Don't be embarrassed (even though I said to you SEVERAL times if you don't like it to just give it back, I won't be offended). I just don't get people sometimes.

I have had that happen to me too, lending out a kit to help someone stop analogs. I don't even know if she's put any effort into trying it out. I have a couple friends that now have kits but just won't use them. I have tried, and will continue to vape big clouds when they come over most evey weekend, especially when they're on the way to the back patio for a smoke.

Yep, me too. I guess on some level people have to come to it on their own if and when they're ready. It's still obnoxious, though. Give me my dang PV back if you're not going to use it!!!

Same here. I convinced my mom to buy a kit, and we went through a lot of effort getting her a liquid she could stand. And she only uses it when she goes on vacation. In the meantime, my father thinks she quit smoking a year ago. And she thinks we can't smell the cigarettes.

OK, I've got one. There's a lady here in town who owns the local insurance company, and she and one of her employees smoke like chimneys. The office reeks constantly, and they're obviously killing themselves.

After owning it for just two days, I handed her my brand new Smoktech VMax with a DCT tank fitted with a custom-slotted Boge 2.0 ohm single-coil carto as she was getting into her Benz. "Here - vape this on your way home, and keep it for the weekend". She says "But I don't smoke in my car". "No worries, this isn't smoke, it's vapor. It won't stink up your car". "Oh ... OK".

When I got it back a week later (she kept leaving it at home, unused) she said "thanks for trying, but this isn't for me. I don't like the flavor".

:?:

Ouch. No, I haven't given up on her ..... yet.

Same thing with my wife..... well, actually we bought a 1000mah ego t kit.

Hers flodded and fried the battery, she went back to the norm. I bought her a whole new kit and, she doesn't use it. She can't seem to wrap her head around it, she says.

So I told her to give it back to me so I can give it to someone that uses it or atleast sell it to make some coin back so I can buy some more stuff for myself...... ain't happenin jack.

Oh well..... now I know to buy for myself if I want her to try something.

I hope you'll try again, maybe with what I'm using right now; the Joyetech eGo-C Twist with a Vivi Nova tank, with a flavor or two that she really likes. These work really well, and are VERY easy to use. I hate to see ANYONE smoking, because it's now just plain unnecessary.

Yeah, smoking seems a little obsolete and even archaic at this point. I mean, why don't we go back to using stone tools?

Drip tips on cartomizers. I know everybody does it, and you have to with tanks, but without a tank you don't have to and if you don't have to why recycle all of that dirty used condensation right back into your carto when it condenses on the drip tip or even the standard rubber tip and just runs right back into your carto. I'm convinced it reduces performance. Plus it's easier to drip it if it's just open.

I realize I'm alone here but seriously, drip tips are only good on cartos for extending from a tank or keeping pocket lint out of the carto.

Shops that advertise crap they don't and won't have in stock.......

I'm pretty sure it would be illegal to open a ca lot and advertise cars for sale that I don't have.....

I've had that happen before. I usually call paypal and get my money back. At least once, the guy sent it anyway. That lead to an interesting conversation that lead to paypal siding with me that I shouldn't be out shipping charges because he didn't pay attention to his email (from me and paypal) or his ebay feedback saying that I didn't think he was ever going to ship it.

He never did paypal me money for shipping, and the thing (which was also not as advertized) is still in my closet.

Because of this experience and ones like it, I've given up on eBay. I have literally never interacted with the site (buying or selling) and not been involved in some kind of scam. The best experience I had was buying an SL-1200mk2 that had a broken bottom plate and wouldn't accept its feet. It was merely unusable instead of being a completely different product, and the return was simple and painless.

Never again.

I use to sell and buy on ebay for about 12 years, then they started upping and upping and uppping the final value fee's and initial fees, and that was the end of that, no longer sell on ebay, once in a blue moon i'll buy something but only if i cant find it anywhere else.

I always checked feedback before buying anything, only got ripped off once, for a pair of $180 True Religion Jeans....i sent them back to her because she sent the wrong size....she claimed she never got them, ...like i said, i've sold and bought off ebay for 12 years, i've never NOT gotten a package and my buyers have never NOT gotten a package...so she basically lied. I still want to find her and wring her neck to this day'....i unfortunately sent them back air mail , so there was no tracking. so i guess i got what i deserved. i just hate someone who would do something like that, i hope her karma was horrible that whole year'.....

okay..see? now look what you did, you got me all riled up now'...and that was 6 years ago........lol..
