Hey, I want to learn to play guitar, real bad! I have a recurring dream where I'm laying down "Comfortably Numb", and riffing on it, and improvising on some of the infinite combinations of progressions up and down the neck of the guitar, and putting it into different keys, and exploring all kinds of note progressions, and maybe hitting it with some whammy bar or buzz box or wa-wa, and then I wake up. (sad face) I'm doing what I can to "fix all the holes where the rain gets in, and stops my mind from wandering, where it will go", so if you could message me with whatever info you can about how I can make my dream a reality ("Reality - What a concept" - Robin Williams) I'd really appreciate it.

When I was growing up in Daytona (early 60's) the "Talk of the Town" Lounge had a drive thru window. You get anything they mixed at the bar or a beer to go. Even at six and seven years old I knew that was just plain wrong. Dad liked it though. No open container laws back then. Get a couple of beers and go for a drive on the beach with the top down.

(I wonder if that's a real place, or just a concept that exists in peoples' neural networks, along with other possible non-entities like "soul", and "spirit"?)

FYI, John: If you're serious, AmpliTube has a "Hendrix" pack of amp/pedal/etc. sims. They sound pretty
good for software. They don't replicate the wall of sound that comes out of a full stack, but they also don't make your neighbors/family want to kill you and won't destroy your hearing. If nothing else, they sound a lot better than an amp you can get for the same price if your computer/speakers can run it. ……does make it a lot harder to go somewhere else and jam, though.
Black, before you ask……yes, with an impedance matching transformer, they actually respond more or less like a tube amp should. I'm not sure how they do it. And yes, they sound like a studio recording, not being on stage………but they sound like a studio recording, not a cheap amp.

I don't really have anything to add here except that I have ~$100 of juice sitting in my desk drawer from Vaperite & Pink Spot……and I still keep vaping one of Rawr's "simple flavors" that I just can't get sick of.
Oh…and I do kinda hate how long the time-out after a voltage adjustment is on a Provari. I don't mind waiting like I thought I would……but I do mind when I forget to wait and accidentally end up setting it to 3.2ish V (aiming for 5ish) and take a complete waste of a vape before I notice.
