What battery is this?

I'm not sure what I actually purchased. I was at the mall and wanted to try ecigs out. I bought an overpriced (...now that I've done some research) starter kit by Blaze (www.blazecig.com/) that uses cartomizers.

Do you know what I bought? I did some research and suspect it is a RN4081 but I'm not sure. The batter has 2 notches (for airflow I suspect) and has a raised flat part inside. It looks like a regular cig and is about the same size as one.

I saw a video on how to refill the cartomizer and might keep this around as a spare. I then saw online that you can buy refillable cartomizers but am not sure what type will work with this battery. Suggestions?

I am going to purchase a Kranger evod starter kit this week. I want to keep this as a back up and would like to refill the cartomizers I have and buy new refillable ones.

Thanks
Tonya

Tonya, I went onto the live chat on the Blaze website and asked some questions. Their battery threading is proprietary; meaning you can only use the products that Blaze sells on the website. Other products by other manufacturers will not work.

Well, doesn't that suck! I popped the top of one cartomizer and followed what the youtube video said to do. I don't have any liquid yet (it is ordered) but I saw the area where it goes. Looks like a wick. Guess I could refill an old one in a pinch. See, this is why one should never make an impulse buy, but on the other hand. It was such a failure that I searched around and found this forum. Lemonade out of lemons.

Sorry. You meant well. You're not the only person that this has happened to. Your intentions were directed in the right direction, you just fell victim to a company that intentionally uses equipment that is designed to keep you on as their customer. At least that is THEIR belief. If they truly offered something special they wouldn't have to go to such extent to keep you as a customer. There are companies that put more focus on meeting a customer's expectations rather than their own.

Mark it up as as experience learned. You have gotten your foot in the door of e-cigarettes. Hopefully you have found out that e-cigs can get you off of cigarettes. And you did find ECF, where you can find knowledgeable people willing to help you succeed.

Baditude, that is very true! I would have been too afraid to make my first purchase online. I tied a few disposables and they were awful. I do sometimes think, oh one analog (look at me using the lingo) won't hurt but I'm staying away and it is going well. I do miss the high I got as soon as I smoked a clove. The first few hits would cause a calming sensation that was relaxing. I believe that is unique to cloves due to the release of Eugenol. I don't know if the clove juice will have it. I hope so.

Edited: just searched the site, look what post I found:
Clove flavoring specifically Eugenol
