I have the Safe Cig, a 510 and a 4081. The Safe Cig was my first one, and while I love the amounts of vapor and ease of use, I have never been overly thrilled with the tobacco flavor they use for their prefilled cartos.
I have been trying to find either blank cartos or a cart/atomizer for it. From the research I have done The Safe Cig is actually a KR308, but I have not managed to find anywhere to buy these parts. But I digress... What I have been doing is cleaning out the cartos, and filling them with my favorite juices - I can get like 25+ drops in one carto.
All in all, I think it's a good e-cig (was my newbie purchase).
Has anyone tried or use Direct E Cig? I like the idea of all American made e-liquid Im assuming most of the other brands are coming out of China and weve all seen the garbage they put in other products sent to the US, remember the dog food scare a few years ago. I am leary though their web site seem a little questionable.
It's been one week for me with my RN4081 super Mini. Yes I bought from the SE people. No I didn't plan to... my Grandfather (the only man I will ever call Father) passed away from lung cancer. I had to quit analogs.
Gotta say, I don't mind this thing... it's just not the kind of PV you can expect to pick up and smoke. It takes a ton of fiddling. I am a pipe smoker too, so I know about fiddling.
I might make an FAQ for folks like me who bought one of these and is willing to work because we just can't affoard another one.
I am buying more 4081s just not brand name to save $$ when I can.

The basic models are 510, 901, 801, 401, KR808D-1, 302, RN4081, etc.
There are many, many basic models.
And really, the model just means which atomizer/cartomizer are you using.
But it gets even more complicated than that.
For instance there are now many different types of 510 atomizers.
There are low resistance (LR) ones and high voltage (HV) ones.
And besides the original Joye ones, there are Bauway and SLB knockoffs as well.
And there are now even 510 cartomizers.
I use a KR808D-1 (the Vapor King from vapor4life) and LOVE IT. I don't use my Blu anymore, but still keep it for emergencies. I'm a heavy vapor and the KR808D-1 keeps up just fine. (I have 3 batteries.)
Ive been a 1.5-2 packaday smoker for 13 years. Did a few days worth of research and ordered a Joye 510 starter kit. I couldnt be more pleased. Ill be done with tobacco within the week.
When my father, a Kool smoker of ~40 years, tried my 510 he immediately fell in love with it. Im ordering him the same kit for his B-Day next month.
As a family we can save hundreds a month. Im quite happy to be the one bringing this into our house. One day, that smell will e gone!

Sir Lawrence tracked down the problem I was having to the batch of 510 attys I had, I put on a 901 with an adapter and I'm happy to say I now love my Sabretouch, it pumps the vapor out and provides great taste and of course the touch sensor is a brilliant idea.
Why wait 30 days??

Was a 25 year, pack a day smoker and quit the day my Eluma came! Its a great starter kit and their flavors are really good...I decided on that one due to price and # of carts in the starter kit (5 packs of 5 carts, variety pack of flavors including menthol).
Just ordered a KR808D-1 with an USB pass-through...can't wait to try that one either. I really like mixing up my own batches of e juice...chocolate and menthol is my favorite right now! No analog ever tasted this good!!!

Different ones work for different people. If you can narrow down what is most important to you and then research, you won't be disappointed. Ego is my recommendation for starting out or the Lazers from Ikenvape.
