I've seen & used the ego tank, the Janty Jet, the Joye tank, and the totally wicked tornado.

Someone is a lying cheat because all of these are the same.

I own a Janty Jet, and they claim that everyone has copied them. I like them, I think they've been honest and forthcoming with me, so I'm inclined to believe them unless someone else has evidence to the contrary.

Thx!

I think Janty and Joye are identical - I think Janty designed Ego models and Joye (Joyetech of China) manufacturers it for both of them.

Any "named" thing that looks like Ego-T may or may not be a clone. Some are just rebranded Joye. Some are rebranded clones (or parts may be mixed - some real and some clone).

I know the atty of the 510 I got at TW looked like a clone (messier slimmer bridge, not neat like a Joye atty)

If you want to buy something different - Gotvapes has a 3-stage Ego clone battery - 5-clicks go from 3.2v to 3.7 to 4.2 (heard it was more like 3.9)

Or get a 3.7v mod box or juice feeder mod box (visit Buying & Selling... Mods and Accessories). Uses cheap batteries (use protected or AW IMR only) and they usually have an on/off switch (great for pocketing). Check out the Classifieds too - I saw some Reo grands in there and other stuff.

Or browse the ecig mods database which also includes some alternate juice-feeding addons

Mik at Janty invented the eGo with the cone, the original eGo. Janty Mik created it, Joye manufactures it. There are legitimate eGo's out there by different vendors now, but Janty still holds the best guarantee/warrantee that I know of. (it's been a long time since purchasing or researching, I'm probably outdating myself lol). The Joye eGo's are sold by many vendors with just as many "logos".

Then there are the "clones". They're not made by Joye, they are made entirely by different companies. Some are actually quite okay. (Riva for instance). Some are not so okay. (tinny, falls apart, thin, short life, bad threads, just overall bad product).

A purchaser really has to do their homework nowadays. It's not easy. I recommend buying your very first from the company themself ... Janty... because well, you KNOW it's original and you KNOW it has a warranty and you KNOW you can rest assured you can leisurly vape for a good 6 months while doing your backup kit research. Your Joye research. Your clone research. That's just to make it easier. I know there are lists of qualified downright righteous classic eGo vendors out there... but I don't have it on me and Janty is the only one that I do KNOW and fully trust (to date). (but there really are lots of honest Joye vendors out there. List!! we need list!!!)

I also like buying my Cisco's from Cisco, my Reo's from Reo's (or a close friend of Robs)... my Silver Bullet from Altsmoke ... my Boba's Bounty from AveJuice ....
