I seem to have settled into about a two week cycle with my vaping purchases. My last orders were a couple of weeks ago, so today's the day for doing it again!

(Well, tonight/tomorrow morning.) And among other things, I'm buying the materials I need to start building coils. I've been looking forward to that for months. Woot!
Here's my list...
- HCigar Kayfun 3.1 clone
- Protank 3
- Kanthal (Probably 34g, for building 2.5Ω-3.0Ω singles for a Kayfun 3.1 and Protank 2. I'm going to wait until I've mastered building single coils before trying to build duals for the Protank 3.)
- Cotton wicking
- Silica wicking
- 5-Pack of Kanger Protank 2 coils
- A couple of Delrin 510 drip tips
I only have two PT2 coil bodies, one of which I think I messed up because it's not sitting exactly flush in the tank base. It doesn't leak (up or down), but it's gotta be a bit out of alignment because I have trouble screwing on the PT2's base with that coil installed. With my other coil, the base screws on much more smoothly and easily. That's why I'm buying a pack of PT2 coils even though I'm also buying coil building materials. I want to make sure I have more than just one good coil body to build in for my PT2.
To my knowledge, all of the toppers I've used so far are wicked with silica, so that's the only material with which I'm familiar regarding flavor intensity and wicking rates. But I'm dying to try cotton, since I hear that it provides more flavor intensity and vapor production. The clearos/tanks I've used are Kanger T2, Kanger PT2, G50 (Hypertank clone), SmokTech DCT w/ Boge F-16s and the iClear 30S.
I'll update with my purchase list once I'm done.
MAN I love vaping!

Every time I get to buy down a chunk of my wish list, I get all excited like a kid on Christmas Eve. This time is really special, though. (a) I'm FINALLY getting a Kayfun. I've been wanting one for months. (b) I'm FINALLY going to start building my own coils. I'm a tech geek and a bit of a gadget junkie, and I've already got a really nice Amprobe MM, so building should be right up my alley.
