I thought, I'd start an interesting thread. Due to my other hobby of flying RC Helicopters, I'm also a member of a forum for this kind of hobby. Over time, a thread with a similar title, brought up some interesting things, giving other pilots ideas etc..

Therefore, I'd like to ask ya'll, what did you do to your PV? Any mods, new equipment, new eliquid, or what ever....

Decided I'm never going to buy another stardust type sealed clearo ever again. Rebuildables are great; you can clean and dry fire attys, boil them and they come up like new. You can even rebuild the coils, which I'm going to start doing.

These sealed units start to backwash after three or four days of constant topping up, but there's very little you can do about it. Washing them only keeps the backwash problems away for a short while, and if you've got a coil that's wound a bit tight you might as well chuck the whole thing in the bin because it's just not worth the random dry hit that gets you by surprise, everytime.

I did my best with the two that I bought, but I'm done with them. Smashed them open to get the 'O' rings to fit to a rebuildable CE4 that has some missing. Not everything is lost.

A new toy coming in the next day or two: A Vamo V2 with two Vivi Novas, 18650 batteries, and charger. Waiting is such a hard thing to do.

Oh yes,

Wifey is not so pleased with me using hand towels and tea towels in the juice lab so I bought some microfibre cleaning cloths while I was doing the shopping. At $1 a pack and washable, these things are just about perfect as you can wipe up a juice spill, dry components, remove fingerprints, or clean up a clearo, and the juice or water just disappears! Everyone should have some.

Somewhere out there
Not today, but within the last few days I have recoiled my Vision eternity RBA 3 times. The first time, I tried 32ga Kanthal only to discover it's too thick to fit under the post sliders and they wouldn't slide down all the way. The second time, I used 34ga and it worked for a short time, but I must have been to rough with the coil while assembling it, because the wire broke right next to the post when I was rinsing off the wick and coil. Third time's the charm, it's been working great. Got around 2.2 ohms

Today, I've been trying my other recently purchased RBA, a Phoenix clone. I've been dripping all different flavors on it, 6 or 8 drops only, then moving on to the next flavor. No rinsing between, so I'm getting some interesting flavor combinations. I'm thinking of recoiling the Phoenix later today to try to get slightly higher ohms.
