It's gonna take years to break even...especially since my non-smoking husband spends more on equipment than I do...ugh.
I've been buying more e-cig stuff. Whenever the VapeMate app shows that I'm ahead, I go on a shopping spree.
I've lost one of my Twists, so I've been planning on replacing it with my very first mod. I already have an eRoll, an elips-C, VV batts, standard batts, tons of tanks, tons of juice, replacement heads, replacement wick, etc. It's time for a mod.
VM shows I'm ahead by $12 now. So it won't be too long.... lol

Your joking right? People save money doing this? I think I've spent more on e-cigs than I ever did on smokes!
More vape stuff, of course. 2 ProVaris, other mods, carto tanks, ProVari bling, juice, DIY supplies, RBA's......I really don't think I have saved a dime.
Well, yeah we do but then we spend it on Provarii, DIY supplies, favorite juices and, replacing all the stuff we can't get the smoke smell out of. Well okay, that and about 200 quail eggs that I hatched, a new room added on to my house, two new collector's edition firearms, a new fishing boat and, More vape gear for friends and family.

I just stopped smoking this June 9th and while I was a cheap date where my pack a day habit was $3.25 a day - I live north of ATL where cigs at CVS are all affordable unlike when I lived in NJ or Boston area.
However, i can already see I'm having a few extra bucks even after vape supplies.

Hay there ECFers! We all learn how unforgivably expensive smoking is once we switch to vaping, usually we mark that time with those handy banner calculator signatures. I, myself am nearing $14k saved, 38k not smoked in the 4 years since my messy divorce with Joe Camel. What better way to encourage new vapers and the vape-curious than with what a vapey life makes room for.
We love to vape, and we love our shinies. Most of our shinies are vape related...but [wo]man can not live by vape alone.
What else have you done with that pile of money you saved by not smoking?
I saved enough to finally get a car....and too dang much nail polish. Most of all I got excited about doing things, meeting people, dating...living.
Maybe you got married, or went on a dream vacation, ran a marathon, new house, had a baby....whatever it is, lets hear it!

I believe vaping would be more popular in GA if $3 packs weren't around because the cig-a-like kits are more expensive.
BTW, did you get the problem with taste worked out? Was if vape-tongue or the kanger?

I am saving that money on purpose though. Even in two years I just get boggled staring at it. (I'm spending 1/3 of what I used to on smoking. Now factor that out over a 30 year smoking binge...)

After monthly vaping expenses, I'll save just enough every year to have one month of student loans paid 'free'.

Generic cigs are cheaper in that $3 price range. Most name brands are 4 and change / almost $5.
Vapapalooze was just held in ATL plus there are more B&M stores opening around the state. They have been busy so a lot of new vapors should be saving money if they are quitting cigs.
Still not a fan of flavor I get from kanger t3 - evod is OK. But it was vape tongue. Caramel still doesn't work for me but I have discovered berry and butterscotch with either dct cargo tank or vision clearo's

I haven't seen any place less than $3 but that really doesn't matter to me.
Yeah, vaping is getting popular in GA. Your area was the only ATL metro area to have stores that I knew of when I started. Too far to drive. I stopped in the new Vaperite in Atlanta (first vape only inside the perimeter). I can see how having a store helps compared to internet and stores that just "also carry" vape stuff.
What ohms are your kangers? My T3 was 2.5 when I got it. I tried an Evod at 2.5 which was a bit better but bought one with 1.8 and tried it when I got home. HUGE difference. Rebuilt the T3 to 2.0, still not as good as evod but much better. I already knew the difference with top coils but it is more pronounced with bottoms. BTW, I think I am the one who recommended you try evod since T3 wasn't doing it for you. Now I recommend going to one of those nearby shops to try lower ohms.
ETA - I started in May and I found my taste is continually changing. Maybe a month from now everything will be different for you too, lol.

Used to spend around $100 a month on Cigarettes. Now I spend about $30 on E-cig stuff.
What is this 'saved' you speak of?? On the other hand, I'm feeling better than I have in years. More than worth it.
