What difference in vape is there between 28g and 30 or higher?

Why does everyone order from tempco on ebay rather than get it from temcoindustrial direct, says its free shipping too!? I am about to create an acct and order from there-unless you know why I shouldn't?
Their shipping times are much faster through ebay. I bought from their site, and my order didn't end up shipping for a few weeks :)

I order straight from TemCo a handful of times now, and my orders have always been shipped out by the next day, and in my mailbox 2-3 days later...

I shoot for 10-13 wraps to reach my target resistance when wrapping a micro coil around the mold (.055" mold in my case).

Which ever wire allows me to do this is what I select.

I have been running 1.5 ish ohm micro coils and use 28 ga for these constraints.

Now, see this is the type of post I like. The post itself was helpful, but I still wasn't sure if I should get Kanthal A1 or Kanthal D.

Then I scanned down to your signature where I see "rba's sporting 10/11 wraps 28 ga Kanthal A1 around a .055" jig = 1.5 ohm micro coil wicked with CVS sterile rolled Cotton"

So, off to Tempco I go. :vapor:

I have a hard time understanding myself sometimes :)

Here's a better example (oh and I always use Kanthal A1 and a.055" jig):

If I want a 1.5 ohm coil. I use 28 ga because it gets there in about 11 wraps.

If I want a .9 ohm coil, I use 27 ga cause it gets there in about 11 wraps (if I remember correctly).

If I want a 2 ohm coil, I use 29 ga cause it gets there in about 11 ish wraps. :)

It's hard to count the tiny wraps sometimes that's why I shoot for 10-13 wraps to hit my target resistance and use the thickest wire size that allows it :)

No, it was perfectly understandable (to me). I just liked that the question I still had was actually answered in your sig! Your method makes sense and, since my old eyes have a real problem with tiny, close in work, it should come in handy when I start building my own coils in the near future.

Thanks, again.

^ you're welcome Dan :). There's some other stuff in my signature that is amazing for providing the best possible vape :)

Yeah, I know. I've been eyeing the Grand or VV Grand for a while. I've never used a mech before, so the VV is kind of appealing, but then again, the simple maintenance of the non-VV version is appealing as well. Decisions, decisions.

Will have to get one (which?) after Christmas. This month's vape budget has already been broken.

Regardless of which design make sure the build is reliable. You can not go wrong with REO Grands(awesome) and as far as tube mods having many quality I am a huge fan of GP PAPS for my everyday mechanicals.
You will quickly find, you get what you pay for from shipping to service.
When it comes to atomizers, chase flavor not ohms or clouds.
Micro Coiling is a blast to me and running into guys like Super x is what this is all about. It certainly isn't about a douche telling someone to search.
Remember, the sooner guys like you learn the more others learn and so on.

Thanks, Idaho.

I've seen the GP PAPS mods too while shopping for the SnP. They are very, very nice looking and from reading posts in the GP thread I can see one in my future.

I don't particularly care about clouds. It wasn't important when I smoked, it's not important now. I want good taste from my juice.

So far, I've been lucky and only had positive experiences with the questions I've asked. Such as Super x and you here. Yankee and JoJo in the GP thread (and the By Leo thread as well). I'm looking forward to trying my hand at building my own coils. I've been paying close attention to the Sophia builds that I've seen (she should be here in a few days). I'm old, but not too old to learn. Hopefully, I'll be able to impart some help to others as I progress along this journey.

Same experience here. Even once when it showed to be out of stock for a few weeks, ordered anyhow and it showed up in just a few days. And they do have paypal as a payment option. Very good company to do business with.

That's great. Yankee and JoQueen are great peoples. We all met a while back on the GG thread as we hang out a bit with Imeo. I finally got them to visit us on the GP thread and off to the races they went. They will tell you how impressed they are. Perseas and George are great men and the service is not well explained, it must be experienced.

Stop by and say hello, tell Perseas hello. He is there most daily and is finishing up a 22mm Spheroid atomizer that will change the game. The 17mm Spheroid is indredible in its own right. The thread is incredible. There isn't one on that thread that wouldn't stop what they are doing to help out. It is a bit fun as well. On the thread we talk about all attys and devices, there are no bounds like many builder threads. Perseas often posts pics of himself loving other mods. I have many GP devices in my album, feel free to look.

I have 2 kids that have graduated college and one in. I would assume I may have you on age...:)

And just to help prove my point even more, I ordered some Kanthal straight from TemCo last night, it shipped out this morning, and shows it will be delivered on thursday.

Thats 3 days from the time I placed my order, to my mailbox... :vapor:

That sounds great! Maybe the one time I had to wait for them was a fluke, where they didn't have the wire I needed it stock. Glad it worked better for you!
