Where in CA are you?

Good choice on brand. I would get a couple of extra atomizers, and some spare carts that you can fill. I myself would also order 2 extra 510 batteries. Tasty Vapor was selling them for 5 bucks each, although they do not sell sample sized juices, but they are well priced and tasty vapes for sure!

If you are a pack + a day smoker, i would get 12 to 18 mg. juice. I did all 24 mg, and I cannot vape as much as I would like because of the strenght.

There is a tread on favorite ejuices. Check it ot.

Yes you need juice.

Everyone is different when it comes to nice levels though. One pack a day smoker will be satisfied at 18mg, while another pack a day smoker will vape 36mg.

I suggest getting some 36mg juice and some 0 nice juice of the exact same flavor. That way you can try the 36 and mix down if it's too strong.

Tasty Vapor has excellent juice and sells 0 nice doublers that would serve that purpose nicely.

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
i love the eGo....with mega carts/mega attys...but i am sure the 510 is fine.
juices: VaporBomb, Freedomsmokeusa, Backwoods Brew
You will find that this will become somewhat of a "hobby"....adding upgrades, accessories, etc...FUN FUN!

OK, I've kinda settled on the Joye 510, based on the reviews I've read. I'll get that starter kit. Probably just the regular one, not the mega. See how it goes.

So...what else do I need? Juice? How much is good to start off with?

And anything else?:?:

I started with a 510 mega kit and a load of prefilled cartomizers. It was a great experience but even with the mega batteries, I wasn't thrilled about battery life. Maybe I enjoyed vaping a little too much but within a week I ordered an eGo kit and LOTS of juice.

In retrospect, I wish I would have just bought the eGo to begin with and had more spare cash for juice and other goodies.

I'm jus' sayin'...

If your worried about the nic. level as I was, you can order a high strength 48mg and dilute it with 'doublers'
(0 nic.) without losing the flavor. I got mine from tasty vapors. an EFC supplier. they have a chart that tells how much of what to get the nic. level for you..They don't have sample sizes but have great juices at good prices.:p You can cut it down with PG or VG found at some pharmacies but that will affect the flavor too.

I recommend getting a 510 with PCC. It has an internal battery that charges your 510 batteries, and also holds a couple carts and attys, so you can have them everywhere. You can find a 510 with 2 batts, 5 carts, 2 attys, and a PCC for under $50.
A couple emty cartomizers would be nice, as they give you a different type of vaping experience, and portability.

MistressNomads advice is very good. You don't want to run out of a critical element. Always have a backup. Also on the juice get small amounts of different flavors at different strengths. People are surprised when they find that they like flavors they didn't think that they would like. If you get a few different strengths it will be easier to find the one that is right for you. IMO. If your very busy think about an Ego with mega carts/cartomizers. Less refilling during the day.
