I have been reading a lot about different states and ecig bans... I am a bit confused about the practical consequences... It's tough reading through the legal documents and trying to glean what they are really saying.

I am wondering what it really means in terms of my vaping habits/consumption?

Does it mean that I cannot buy or use ecigs or eliquid from other states or other countries where there is a ban?

or... does it mean that I cannot sell ecig related stuff in my state if there is a ban?

vaping is so great and I am so much healthier since I started... I worry about losing a good thing.

I would say everyone here feels the same way! The actual enforcement details of a ban are very unclear now. We really do not know the final impact, but many here are becoming very active in trying to get state legislators on board to this better alternative to smoking. It is likely that a ban would mean an end to being a vendor in that state. The rest of the details of a ban are unclear at this point, but in terms of using PVs, it would likely be limited to those places where smoking is banned. My personal opinion is that private usage will not be illegal, but sanity is not many of the antis strong suit. And big money is at issue here.

I don't think another expert will have a set answer that covers all the bases here, so you might consider posting this in the Law forum:

Unfortunately, understanding the details of a proposed ban really does require being able to read the legalese, but there are law experts there that are better informed and can make IMHO better responses to your concerns.
