I'm curious as to how this works both for venders and consumers.

I ordered 16$ worth of wicks and a drip tip from PBdragon. Order shipped on the 28th of May. The tracking number updated all the way until it got to my city, showed out for delivery then never made it to my house. The last update shows "Tracking number not updated"

I've contacted the postal service and they are saying they have no clue where my package is. I'm going to continually call back until I can get this figured out.

But what am I supposed to do? I'm not super concerned because it was only 16$ but what am I supposed to do if it was a 260$ iHybrid that just never shows up at my door?

Do I go into the postal office screaming my head off? PBDragon claims no responsibility for a package once it leaves his hands. I was hoping he would call the postal service to help figure out what happened to this package but it doesn't seem to be worrying him too much. I'm assuming once he got his dollar the customer doesn't matter.

So who do I go after for robbing my 16$? Is it my fault for trusting the internet to be a good place to order goods from? I've ordered hundreds of things from the internet in my life and everytime something has arrived broken or something is wrong there has been a replacement. I've had items lost in the mail and after the company investigates I end up receiving the goods that I ordered.

I just need a third parties opinion please help!!!!

Fill in all info

Ask that they inquire.

Visit Local PO and file any available info so you know someone is aware near your residence.

P.O. is responsible but it will take a long time to Declare missing, not just misplaced.
In the meantime be patient. I have had packages disappear in USPS continuum for as much as 45 days and suddenly arrive.

Never hold a Vender at fault for a USPS issue after package pick up. That is absurd.

The post office is a strange place. I once ordered a purse from ebay. The lady was in new york or something. I tracked the package to my area.
It showed out of delivery and then changed to delivered at 9:00pm at night. I called the Post office, because I never got it and you know that they did not deliever it at 9:00 pm. They checked around and ect and told me that it may have gone back to the hub and if it did it would be returned in a few days. I contacted the seller and she of course did not believe me nor did she think it was her problem. The package showed up back in New York a few days later. The address was fine and it was not returned or anything. Just weird. Anyway, it could show up in a few days at your house or the vendors place.

Ps

I would find a new vendor! For not being more helpfull. There are too many vendor's to spend your money at.

I wouldn't hold him at fault. I even told him using the contact form you sent that I'm not holding him at fault but if the package never arrives I at least expect him to inquire/investigate. Ask 1 or 2 questions to see if we can get on the right track to declaring this package missing.

I don't expect a vendor to send a message like this. I was hoping for some kind of assistance. I know if this happened with totally wicked they would at least credit my account 5$ and not just leave me out in the cold.

"Hey Trey,

Once a package leaves our hands we have no control over it. Hopefully the PO or carrier was able to find your package for you.

Thanks"

A follow up message has him claiming the tracking number shows that my package was delivered when it is showing "Tracking number not updated"

Believe me this was my first and last buy from this vendor. I'd still like to receive something.... If I wanted this to happen I would have thrown 16$ at a local bum

That's crap, If may have cost him a few dollors to fix you up but, it would have gained him a customer for life. When I first started vaping one of my batteries was doa, the other one lasted two days, and I think that was my own fault, now, that I think about it. But, The vendor fixed me up. He replaced my batteries. Guess what, I have never bought hardware from anyone else. He didn't have to replace the second battery, he could have said oh well, sorry. He didn't and he has a loyal customer because of it.

Yelling at the postal clerk won't help. But theft is theft,be it 16$ or1600$. Let them look into the matter.if things pan out for you, great. If not you can always file a police report.packages are stolen all the time.i remember a rash of thefts somewhere in Florida not too long ago.turned out to be an 8 year old having fun.but they never would have caught the kid if police didn't know what was going on.
If things don't pan out look for a new shipping option. UPS or FedEx maybe or registered mail.
I haven't had this problem myself.most of my stuff I bought at a vape store.i pay a little extra but I don't have to wait a week for delivery and it doesn't get stolen off my doorstep.
I also have a mailbox that locks.so I haven't lost a thing.

PBDragon claims no responsibility for a package once it leaves his hands.

Never use a seller with that policy. It doesn't matter if it's an internet store or a private person on Ebay. That is not how it works in business. People with that policy are not experienced in running a business.

On the rare instance that I sell jewelry that needs shipped there is no option to not pay for insurance offered. Everything about shipping is up to me except timetable. If I decide it's not worth paying for insurance then I am self insuring the item, meaning I'll eat the loss. At no point is the customer responsible for paying for something they don't receive.
When I ship scrap gold off I don't get to claim I gave it to the post office and the refinery has to pay me if they don't receive it.

Sounds like you're pretty much screwed, hoping and waiting. The post office isn't going to initiate a search from your end unless you're extremely lucky.

I'm with you on that. I've ordered a few thing my store didn't.carry(kanthal,400 ss mesh,a new gen/atty) but they have been so cool to me that even if there were another store to go to I wouldn't.

Sorry this happened to you.....and thank you for warning me to STAY AWAY from https://www.pbdragon.com/lair/ His fault or not... how easily you were dismissed is what bothers me.

As others, I have a couple vendors that have "taken care" of me...and I will be a customer for life because of that as well as sending new vapors there way...a lot of em ;)

I haven't read all the replies...but don't just call your Local PO...call their 800#..it can be a pain getting through their Menu, to talk to a real person...I had to call them just the other week on account of Vapemail. They made a claim right then on the phone, gave me said claim #...2 days later I received a call back from the PO letting me know my package would be delivered that day...and it was.

This. I had an eGo kit that was misdelivered by the post office never to be seen again. The vendor was also taking the "oops, not my problem" approach to the situation. A couple of calmly worded emails back and forth and he reversed his decision and sent a new kit. Although I've since moved away from the devices he offers, I ALWAYS send new vapors I'm acquainted with to his site.

I live in a big complex and for the last three mos every order I have gotten has been at least a week late since usps can't seem to read letters in an address well. Usually it's on the pkg -wrong box, pls redeliver to correct address etc. If you go in and talk to the delivery supervisor and postmaster every month they seem to all of a sudden get the address right. Today my package was actually in my box when it said delivered.
